But it's not. It's people saying they want Britney Spears :rolleyes: "We want Britney! who cares about Coldplay" My sides hurt from laughing :D The stupidity of the world astounds me sometimes.

Hardly, let's be brutally honest here and not look through the Coldplayer lens. They write music to keep their label happy They write music to keep radio stations happy They (now) write MOR music to keep the masses happy They write music they think their 1% hollywood friends will like They write music they think their kids will like (at the age they are now anyway) They (used to) write music they thought critics would like. It seems the only people they are not writing for are the fans who enjoyed their alt-rock sound and made them who they are today. To say they are only writing music for themselves is incredibly naive.

I don't get this article at all, I have no problem professing my love for Coldplay. When I was a teenager you might have gotten the "Oh you must be gay" comment a bit, but still even then people had respect for Coldplay as real musicians who made real music. They might have never been cool, but they were sincere. Sure, you might get laughed at by music snobs but it's quite easy to shut them down by saying "Name me an album in the last 10 years that's better than AROBTTH?" Albeit, nowadays I don't really converse about Coldplay (I don't avoid the topic if someone brings up musical tastes) or try to introduce people to them because frankly everyone knows who Coldplay are. Everyone has made up their mind about them now and you can't really change that opinion.

So is there going to be a replacement for the almighty chat-box/latest post box? I'm using the dark theme as it's closer to the vbulletin site and the layout is more clear in my opinion. Really missing the chat-box though!
