Hey Guys! :D new Coldplayer here! Came across Coldplay recently with their collaboration with the amazing talent that is Ariana Grande! I originally thought this nobody band was just trying to piggyback of her fame :veryangry2: but boy, was I wrong! I think my favourite album is definitely GS but it's so hard to separate from MX! :cry: Don't know which is better, ASFOS or POC? True Love is definitely up there too! I also attempted to listen to their earlier work, for a whole 30 seconds that was. I think the song was called "Politik" or something... It gave me a really bad vibe and came across as really a bit of a drag. The collaboration with Tove Lo will be amaaaaaaaazing though! :love: I'm also going to buy 20 tickets for the Wembley show and drag my entire facebook friends list along :D We can't wait to hear Paradise! x

I'm sorry but Coldplay are not just ordinary people "with an iPhone" They have a platform and a voice. Where they once used that voice to support causes they agreed with, they're now using it to flog electronics to young, impressionable teenagers. Sell-outssss

Coldplay have gone from promoting Fair Trade to advertising a product which contributes in killing the endangered creatures they're trying to emulate. And people try to tell me this band haven't changed :disappointed::disappointed::disappointed:

This isn't a music video. This is an advertisement. One step forward and two steps back for good 'ol Coldplay.

I'm surprised they played it to be honest. It was probably an impulsive decision they made on a whim because Phil was tweeting that the setlist wasn't fixed.

Don't hold out on listening to the new songs, they are indeed great but you're expectations are going to be completely blown out of proportion!

I'm wondering why AOAL was the first single and not AHFOD? AHFOD seems the much better choice, no?

I hope there's just one track on this album which is just Chris and an acoustic guitar. The upbeat songs are great but it's just common album making manners to put at least one down tempo track there to give us a break.

I'm enjoying the four tracks we've heard. Even Amazing Day is growing on me. Fingers crossed Hymn for the Weekend isn't too poppy and X Marks The Spot isn't as shockingly bad as it sounds.

So in terms of Kaleidoscope and Colour Spectrum being interludes, how many songs does that leave us that we haven't heard yet?

It certainly is pop, It's just very good pop.

The piano from Up and Up has a very Keane-ish vibe to it.
