  1. My mother once said to me something along the lines of "I love their music but not the singing" Of course I steadfastly disagreed but sometimes I can see her point.
  2. It really is disappointing not getting tickets for a show you were really looking forward to. Especially with that niggling thought "Someone who doesn't even like Coldplay are probably going instead of me because a family member/significant other is dragging them along" Been on the end of that a few times with both Coldplay and other artists.
  3. There's not really much difference in the colour on the username between honorary Coldplayers and the rest of us, which is a bit of a shame for you lot really.
  4. Wembley, June 18th. I'll make a weekend out of it :)
  5. AROBTTH may be Coldplay's best album. But Violet Hill is their masterpiece. Just listen to that. Ecstasy.
  6. At least Coldplay play their hits. Didn't Blur go through a phase of not playing any of their singles? Yeah it gets boring fast for super fans like us, but it's great for the casual concert goer.
  7. Woah, what was that X&Y sounding synth going through Chinese Sleep Chant there? The stuff you pick up on while listening to instrumentals is eye opening.
  8. I actually think Yes would be a much better song if the strings were replaced by a distorted guitar riff by Jonny.
  9. Yeah, never got this personally. It was a gimmick by the band in an attempt to reconcile the amount of great songs they produced in the Viva era with the silly "Ten song rule"
  10. Yep, I'm also a British citizen as well.
