Ok, let's put it in this way. I used to hate Radiohead, then I listened to the whole discography some years ago and I realised that they're a very important band, but they seem to have a specific identity: elitist, quite megalomaniac, self-righteous. The problem is not that the band might be this way, they're not the only great band who act like this, it is that the RH's fanbase usually tends to feel like that and I can't stand it. If you talk to a random RH hardcore fan you often have to deal with a fundamentalist, you can't just talk about music in a peaceful way. The other fact I hate is that critics tend to overrate their outputs, even if they are not so good, and I hate when critics are not neutral and overreact only because they're talking about a big band. Just to clarify, I like them and I love a lot of their catalogue, even b-sides or unreleased material.

I really loved the first gif, the second one is a great departure from the previous ones and I find it very strange and a little kitsch. Anyway it seems to embrace a brave new style direction, so I'm very curious about everything, I don't know what to expect

Lenny Kravitz - Love Love Love

se la prima immagine mi sembrava quasi un elemento di rottura rispetto al passato (a parte una sorta di "evoluzione" dal finale del video di True Love), questa nuova gif da un senso di continuità, almeno visivamente, ad una certa estetica propria di Ghost Stories. Invece l'altro filone estetico con cui vedo un collegamento è quello di MX sia per i vestiti nei live sia per le ghirlande di fiori e i colori a profusione. Diciamo che anch'io con la prima immagine avevo un certo "ottimismo", la seconda me lo ridimensiona un po', prevedo una fusione degli ultimi due album stilisticamente. La speranza è che ci sia qualche episodio "sperimentale", come è stata per esempio Midnight per GS, magari se cazzeggiassero con il sitar... :lol:

Campagna di hype abbastanza arcadefiriana, l'artwork se confermato non mi dispiace. Certo, non si giudica il libro dalla copertina...

It's one of the first times we disagree :) I find it very difficult to find a MX song that I really like except for Moving To Mars (and it's not even on the album), on GS there are at least 3-4 good songs that I listen to quite often. Last time I listened to a MX song was 2 years ago.

ASFOS For the album, I honestly think that it's quite good considering the fact It's almost a side project or a Chris solo album. It's fair to say that the first 4 albums were better, but it has some good songs. Glad to see Wish I Was Here among them, a great song. but Miracles?
