Applebee's is a midscale sit-down eatery chain in the United States. I'm not a huge fan of the food. Lately their stock hasn't been doing so good.

Don't be so sure on the easiness of beating McCain. McCain is a career politician with many connections behind the scenes. Just when you think he's out of the game, he comes back with a vengeance. Everyone who paid close attention to the Republican primaries knows this. I'm no fan of McCain or Obama, as I tend to agree with the Ron Paul vision of minimalist government. But Obama is the less experienced of the two politicians, so my hope is that he would win with a Republican majority in both houses of Congress to rein in his spending. McCain would no doubt be a big-spender, too, but just on other things like Iraq.

I think that would have been Coldplay overload for me, wow. Talk about synchronicity.

It's going to be so weird to see the Clintons sucking up to another Democrat family, lol. It's about time the torch passed in that party! I also agree with the anti-McCain sentiment here... he's the ultimate politician. I hope he loses to this newbie.

They're all so close... and I'm being quite honest in saying that. I picked Chinese Sleep Chant because it's so beautifully atmospheric and it put my mind in a good place. Also, I'm not as big a fan of audible lyrics as most people here, probably.

She doesn't realize it yet, but using voice recognition technology developed by NASA I've been able to pinpoint who she is and where she lives. May the Coldplaying community have mercy on her soul...!

Oh the other thing was: You choose to be happy. Happiness isn't something that just flows to you, you have to make a decision to want to be happy.

Jamie/Ian/etc. why don't you run down there and go meet Coldplay and Eno!? Everything's a walk away in Britain, right? In America it takes 4.5 hours to get to the grocery store in my Hummer going 80mph.

Wow this song sounds like it'll be so beautiful (from the bit we heard in the youtube video). I hope it's long... That might end up being my old gripe with this album - that it's not drawn out enough. I like songs I can put on and leave going for a while.

I have to agree. It seems like when Coldplay try too hard they end up sabotaging themselves. That's why I hope they keep incorporating new and odd instruments into their music. The less familiar the musical territory, the less likely they are to fall in the trap of being perfectionists.

This was already my favorite month of the year because it's the first month of summer break and the weather is finally nice... Add Coldplay to the mix, and it's almost too good to be true!
