Wouldn't it have been tax money though? Anyway it's a shame a lot of people last their jobs. The economic crisis really seems to hit Britain badly. I was quite shocked when I realised how much the Pound has gone down recently.

Why mention it all the time? Statistics prove those kind of statements wrong and it's not really funny as a joke either since you hear it every single day. Funny how much people from other parts of the UK dislike Liverpool. I didn't even recommend her to go there, just mentioned it to tell her how long it takes to travel from London to a Northern city. I don't think it would take much longer if you wanted to go to Leeds, York or Manchester.

I nearly missed my flight too. My friend took me to the airport and I only just made it. I probably would have missed it if there had been more flights that left [more or less] at the same time.

Hello everyone! :wacko: I'm sooo bored. Stupid TV box doesn't work so I can't even watch Match of the Day tonight.

Lying to sound cool is definitely not a good idea. Worst thing was that I actually lied to a guy I really liked because I was kind of ashamed that I was a virgin. :uhoh: I bet half of my friends at the time didn't tell me the truth.

It would be good in that way then. You could always go to the UK after you graduated and work there for a while or something. Good luck anyway!
