Bob Dylan
we're talking about 'mad world' right? it was a christmas number one? i didn't know that. it was never played on canadian radio or tv stations so i didn't have the opportunity to get sick of it. if i never saw donnie darko i wouldn't have known about it.

A Clockwork Orange
did you know in that scene pictured above the man playing the doctor (whom i think was an actual doctor) was having a hard time remembering his line and kept fumbling. the lead actor guy 'alex' (i've never seen the movie the whole way through...) got so frustrated he batted the eye klentching things away and ended up scratching his eye very badly. kubrick didn't want to stop filming so he made the actor continue the scene in pain and just shot on the other side of his face so you couldn't see his other injuried eye. you prolly all knew that. i read it in a Q mag.

good songs on bad albums
i love 'writing to reach you' by travis, but alas - the rest of the album did not bid well with me. also i really liked 'into your hideout' by pilate and went out and bought the album only to end up not ever listening to it again.

Anchorman
"i have very important late breaking news....CANNONBALL!" looks hilarious. definitely going to see it.

FaMiLy GuY
i hope when it comes back its actually still funny. funniest bit ever, hands down - the scene with bert and earnie. i'd quote it but i don't remember the exact dialouge and well i'm too lazy to go find it.

Dodgeball
saw this movie last night and i cried...when i realized i had paid 9 dollars for that piece of crap. i know some movies are meant to be 'fun' but this was just ridiculous. urgh, my friends and i were practically the oldest people there and i'm only 19! its such a high schoolers movie. i miss the days when seeing people get hit in the crotch was amusing.

bands you haven't
muse, maroon 5 (august 7th - yay!), and semisonic....if they still toured.

do you think that a cover song could be on the 3rd album ?
i doubt they'd put a cover song on the album, but a few more b-side cover songs will probably pop up (ex 'lips like sugar') i would love for them to cover jeff buckly's 'last goodbye' i think they'd really do buckly and that song justice.
