hmm...well biggest album surprise of 2004 was 'sunlight makes me paranoid' by elefant. completely amazing record.

what isn't a good muse song to download? 'hysteria' is classic. everyone loves that tune. it is just fantastic through and through. i am partial to 'sing for absolution', 'butterflies and hurricanes' and ' apocolypse please'. 'plug in baby' is fantastic too.

if devon didn't have nice hair he would not have even been considered. he's such a pretty boy and i'm sure he's a nice guy - but he makes for a horrid vj. he has no personality, loses his train of thought easily and always stumbles over his words. it is frustrating to watch. and sarah is okay at her delivery and has a somewhat good sense of humour but she really comes off as an airhead who knows nothing about music and is (and WAS) basically only picked to be a vj based on her good looks. i miss bradford!

it wasn't THAT bad.... not to the ten people who vomited it wasn't. heh. a few of my friends who have seen it though do agree with you. people are just hearing word-of-mouth that it is insane visuals and it is really not that bad apparently.

hey sweet marianne while you are talking to your friend at much can you let her know that whoever though hiring that fro ho sarah taylor was a good idea should be fired. also let them know that devon should not be given an extended contract as he is terrible at vjaying. watching much music lately has become painful.

well, i always tend to like the heavier more produced stuff. i'm not very hard-core cool. like, most people prefer parachutes -- but i'd take 'a rush...' over it any day. well, i guess it depends on my mood...but generally i like 'a rush...' more.

oh, i'm completely aware that they've been an established band in the idustry and radio waves for a longlong time now, but personally i never gave them much a thought until i kept randomly hearing tracks off the 'room on fire' album. i mean, the 'is this it' cd was probably great - but from the singles alone i wasn't interested in exploring their sound. but 'room on fire' is right up my alley. i love it!

i litterally like just got into the strokes. like i bought their 'room on fire' album maybe two weeks ago. i really didn't go for their sound at all on the prior album, but 'room on fire' is track after track of solid music. i adore it.

love 'murder' it is probably the b-side i wore out the most. i re-played that track over and over. i love the vocals, love the lyrics, love the tune, love it!

i like both studio and live versions of this song. though, i agree - the two play out entirely different sounding endings...well to me anyway.

ten people opening night vomitted in the theatre. more have upchucked since, but not in as high numbers -- thus giving me just about all the reasoning i need NOT to see this movie. i did have someone spoil the ending for me though, clever!!

yes, i also use winMX and it has treated me very well thus far. cept for a virus here or there. my brother is sure it's from downloading but he's just trying to blame me.

i found out about their october 1st show in toronto 2 weeks prior and was apparently still too late because when i went to grab tickets they were gone and i was not a happy camper! but i love their album. i will see them live one day, i just have to.
