if its 10 working days to set up a PO Box, we've had 5 so far. So this week will be another 5. Its likely to be next week before we get an address, unless the Royal Mail get a move on.

Britain's Got The Pop Factor And Possible a Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar........
Peter Kay trumps X Factor single A satirical song by the comedian Peter Kay, lampooning television talent shows, is likely to outperform a single by a former X Factor winner and will vie for the No 1 spot in today’s pop charts. Sales of The Winner’s Song, sung by Kay as Geraldine McQueen, an overweight transsexual from Northern Ireland, are thought to have overtaken Leon Jackson, 19, who won the ITV talent show last year. Both singles were released last Monday, but Kay’s spoof has sold so well that it stands an outside chance of knocking Pink, the American singer, off the top of the charts. McQueen was the fictitious winner of Kay’s talent show send-up, Britain’s Got the Pop Factor and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice. In the programme, seen last Sunday on Channel 4, McQueen impressed Sir Paul McCartney, her mentor, with a rendition of the Home and Away theme tune and won praise from the judges for a medley featuring Rihanna’s Umbrella. Jackson’s first single, When You Believe, went to No 1 after he won The X Factor in December last year. Simon Cowell, the millionaire impresario behind the show, and Sony BMG, the record label, deliberately waited until The X Factor was back on air for a new series before releasing Jackson’s second single, Don’t Call This Love. Last weekend the teenager performed his new song live on the show before a television audience of more than 10m. However, attempts at generating maximum publicity around Jackson appear to have been scuppered by Kay and his army of loyal fans. It will not be the first chart success for Kay. He has already been involved in two No 1 singles, the proceeds of which were donated to Comic Relief. Commenting on Kay’s latest hit, Gennaro Castaldo, a spokesman for HMV, said: “It’s actually not a bad pop tune . . . Millions watched his [TV] show and are obviously playing along with the spoof.” Last week Barbara Follett, the culture minister, criticised talent shows for limiting the aspirations of children: “Kids nowadays just want to be famous . . . and win The X Factor”, she said. http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/music/article4969386.ece

Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
October 17, 2008 - submitted by agustin, Argentina Q. The other day I saw Coldplay's "Live at BBC". There I saw that when they played Viva la Vida they showed a TV where you could see the guys playing violins and similar instruments. Do they really know how to play them? The Oracle replies: The guys are not really playing the string section of that song. The TV clip is just a visual prop. That said Will is a multi-instrumentalist and can play the violin. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 17, 2008 - submitted by Vanessa, United Kingdom Q. The word "applicable"... is the accent on the "i" or on the second "a"? My fiance and I tiff over this often. The best way to settle this, we figured: we say it however Chris Martin says it. Please settle this score for us, o'wise one! The Oracle replies: Oh you definitely want to leave the second a alone! You can either put the accent on the first a or the plic. I hope you and your fianc頮o longer tiff over it, or should I say your husband...as of tomorrow! Congratulations and have a wonderful wedding. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 17, 2008 - submitted by Laura, Argentina Q. Hello dear and loved Oracle. What means Coldplay, literally, what means? God bless you and bless me. The Oracle replies: There isn't a translation for Coldplay as a singular word. It was made by putting the two words cold and play together. As previously mentioned the name originates from Phillip Horky's book: Child's Reflections, Cold Play. If you do translate cold and play though that wouldn't give you a clearer meaning into the band name as there isn't one!

Workers face £180-a-year tax for driving to work!!
The easiest way would be to take the same approach as to non-payment of car tax. If you're a repeat offender, the car will go on a database, the police will see your car, they'll seize it and they'll crush it. Don't need to know where you live then, just need to see it parked somewhere or you driving it along the street.
