As for the titles, yeah that pretty much lines up with what I've heard as established spoilers for next season.

I think from what I'm hearing about next season that they're going to be dealing with some sort of split reality/dual timeline/pocket dimension type thing. So yeah, alternate universe basically. I'm still going with the Chemmis theory myself- it makes about as much sense as any alternate reality. Once you get the gods involved anything is possible... But then there's always going to be another twist to explain away them too, isn't there? Holy crap those posters are beautiful. :o

In other words it does count because you're showing your true self (a jerk), but there just aren't repercussions so you can get away with it.

So... basically in Nathan's view we all fail the turing test. :wtf: I guess from that point of view, it's kind of like the "people" in videogames. They're not real and you can do whatever you want to them. What I want to know is why do some people take that as a license to shoot everything that moves and do a lot of other (potentially if it was real) reprehensible things even to characters on their own side just for the fun of it (lets see how many people we can run over with our car!!) while others can't even pick up a virtual "gun" without moral issues? What is it in someone that makes them want to be "mean" if doesn't really count?

It did indeed start with LOLcats and the idea that if a cat could speak, they would speak in baby talk. Really, sort of like the crazy old cat lady talks to her cats. It kind of evolved from there until it had absorbed most similar things- text speak and gamer speak and some other random quirks. Maybe even a bit of Engrish.

^So good. :nice: I ran out and bought the cd a bit ago after having "Rabbit Heart" and "Dog Days" stuck in my head for a week straight (in a good way for the most part- there's always something stuck in my head). There's lots of big, soaring songs with sort of an English folk music undercurrent to them and then some totally different stuff. She has a huge, huge voice; I love it when people like that do something interesting musically rather than just trying to be the next Amy Winehouse. It's imperfect as an album- there's a couple of songs I really don't like and usually skip, but that hasn't stopped me from listening to it constantly ever since I got it. Heh... I love the cover- it sort of describes the style of the music really well- although if you've only heard "kiss with a fist" (That was the iTunes song, right?) I can see why it would be confusing- that song was a one-off. Listen to Rabbit Heart for a better idea of what they sound like.
