The funny thing is looking back, I think if we told you what it is, not only would you not believe us, but you probably wouldn't even understand. They were really carpet bombing the answers at the end of season 5 there, and like with any Lost mystery, you need five other answers before the sixth will actually mean anything. Heh... perhaps appropriately, the very first thing I can remember of the wider world is when the Berlin Wall came down. First there were all the pictures on tv of people tearing the wall apart. Then a few days later, a kid's game show I used to watch had a contest that had something to do with getting slimed by a jelly wall or something like that in honour of it. Probably the next big thing after that was the whole Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo thing. It was inescapable- all over the news. And very scary in hindsight- I find it hard to believe now that I was old enough to have understood that case at that age. But I guess I did. :uhoh: I was 19. It was my first week living outside of the country for the first time. Kind of traumatic.

You know what? This is actually better than highschool- all the entertainment without any of the angst. Or the part where you live in fear of all the mean girls who are constantly trying to set you up with the erm awkward kid who always smells like he wet the bed. :inquisitive:

They are very, very different bands, really. I mean they sound similar- both through direct influence and indirect influences, but outside of surface aesthetics they fill very different roles and they aren't even trying to do the same thing at all. I think the real measure should be are they doing their thing to the best of their abilities. To which I would answer yes. Now are those roles created equally. Probably not. What does that mean? :sneaky: I leave that to the reader.

Shouldn't be much more work than it is already. Most of them will probably be duplicates anyway, which might just shuffle around the order a little bit. The total number of albums seems to be relatively stable year to year. If 5 people had 30 albums it would add an extra 10 minutes, maybe?

Oh yeah, I got one on my leg at my brother's wedding. That was weird. I look down just after the ceremony because my leg had started aching, and there was this big, long, dark bruise with a gash down the middle of it. No idea what from. It never bled, but it took weeks to heal. :confused:

Oi. Calm down it has nothing to do with you guys and everything to do with women being shortsighted morons who expect too much of themselves. I'm not superwoman or supermom and I never want to be. But many women settle for crappy jobs and second-rate dreams, wind up in a position where they have to stick with them, and then expect too much of themselves to make up for it. And then expect all that of the rest of us. Well not me. I'm getting off the insane bandwagon. There are better ways out there, and they aren't anywhere in the so-called "pink ghettos".

Actually it wasn't- at least not at first. It severed the nerve there when the ball went in so between that and shock I didn't really feel much. It ached a lot afterward, though. Man, your's sounds pretty hardcore. :(

Yeah, and 5 was probably way too low an estimate too. :p
