French (Montreal) and very beautiful. I forgot a CD for the car today and they were on the radio. ^^Imke- Jealous. ;) Glad you had a good time. :D Random Muse thought for the day- I had my mp3 player hooked up to the stereo today and it was on an all-Muse shuffle (5 albums + Dead Star EP). Not only that, but the best mix of Muse songs I think I had ever heard. And then I noticed that it wasn't on shuffle, it was going through the songs alphabetically. I made it past 'H'. It took me until well after the "D"s to notice. Try it. It's frighteningly good how well the songs fit together that way- a nice combination of albums and styles. [/random]

^If you like it, enjoy it. Screw what everyone else thinks. I got into them when NO ONE else around here had a clue who they were. I had to pester the staff at the record store for some of their albums- there just wasn't enough demand to keep it in stock. Doesn't mean that I'm going to stop liking them just because they're on the discount racks now. The cream does occasionally rise to the top, even in the music industry. :cool:

Argh... if ever anyone needed a reason to resent it... it's probably the best soundtrack since Garden State. Definitely worth a listen. I really resented it for a while... but then I realized that if it ends up getting the teenyboppers to listen to Lykki Li and Bon Iver instead of say Lady Gaga, frankly the world will be a better place. Pity most of them will probably never realize what they have.

Good enough for me. When in doubt on a soundtrack or Various Artists project, it has to have at least 80% original dedicated material.
