Anyone know when Coldplay will be taking the stage roughly?

Rank the Ghost Stories songs!
Not in any order cause I can't order my favourites: 1) Always in my Head - I liked the live versions, but the angelic voices in the studio version and the overall production makes this absolutely amazing! 10/10 2) Magic - Love it - some of the 'magic' has worn off but still great 9/10 3) Ink - Absolutely brilliant - something so different for the band. This should definitely be a single! 10/10 4) True Love - expected this to be pretty bad after hearing Timbaland was involved, however this has to be one of my favourite songs off the album - the guitar riff is so emotional and is such a contrast to the test of the song 10/10 5) Midnight - I'm a big lover of ambient music so this song is a favourite of mine. Very dark and hopeless, which reminds me of older Coldplay songs. Fantastic song 10/10 6) Another's Arms - While I like it and I think it fits in the album nicely, it's probably the song I'd skip the most 8/10 7) Oceans - Such a peaceful and raw song. I do think Chris' vocals are a bit off here, purposefully very 'basic' probably to appeal to Parachutes fans. Still, it's a beautiful song but I think it could be even better 9/10 8) A Sky Full of Stars - this song gets a lot of bad rap but I think it's amazing. Very energetic and hopeful, it's this albums ETIAW - which is a very good thing! 10/10 9) O - Oh my god, this is just...wow. This song chokes me up, even more so because of the Zane Lowe interview. 'Maybe one day I'll fly next to you' and 'Don't ever let go' are probably my favourite lyrics from any song, ever. So all in all, I think Ghost Stories is amazing and I'm so grateful Coldplay shared this with us

ColdplayFilm - MX Live DVD
Just got back from one of the screenings in Cardiff, and it was bloody fantastic. There were only about 6 other people in the cinema, which I thought was a bit disappointing but it didn't affect my enjoyment of it. I was expecting the BTTF build up at the beginning, but it kicked off straight away with MX/Hurts like Heaven. I think HLH was the highlight for me, the best live recording I've heard of it - it was filled with energy. I was at first disappointed to read that LiJ and Warning Sign, but it seemed to flow perfectly. Even songs I'm not totally fond of (Major Minus, Up in Flames) sounded fantastic. It also goes without saying that Charlie Brown was EPIC, as was Paradise. I also really liked how UATW looked (i.e. unprofessional recordngs), it made it seem really intimate. I loved how the film went betweens locations, including some fairly small ones which I think worked really well. The interviews seemed a tad repetitive, but I liked how well placed in the setlist they were - Will's one was very emotional and I loved how it seemed to 'continue' into Up in Flames. All in all...wow. I can't wait to get my DVD to watch it again, but I hope my TV/Sound system does it justice! EDIT: And yes, it was ear splittingly loud for me too! The crowd noise was crazy, but that kind of added to the atmosphere.

Mylo Xyloto or Viva la Vida?
MX for me - I found most of the songs on Viva a bit boring and experimental just for the sake of it, while it seems in MX the songs are a great mix of Viva style experimentation and classic Coldplay. Nearly a year on I'm still obsessed with almost every song on MX, especially ETIAW and Charlie Brown seeing as they are AMAZING live :)

Looking for the Scanned Graffiti wall from MX Vinyl edition

Not sure about the tour book as I had one from the O2 already, but the tshirts were £25

[2-Jun-2012] Coldplay @ Emirates Stadium, London, UK
What an amazing night - me and my girlfriend got there at 12 so we could get a good standing spot, and we managed to get 1 row back from the X stage :) every single song had the crowd going wild, but none more than Charlie Brown - every person I could see was jumping. I think there some Xyloband issues though - my girlfriends didn't work, along with many other people I could see, and mine seemed to have a mind of its own. Didn't ruin the experience though! I recorded most songs so I'll upload them at some point later on

[29-May-2012] Coldplay @ Ricoh Arena, Coventry, UK
How long did the show go on for? I read over 2 hours but I also read that they started at 9:15, and the curfew for Ricoh was 11?

[2-Jun-2012] Coldplay @ Emirates Stadium, London, UK
Assuming they start at 8.45 as stated, how dark do you guys reckon it'll be for Charlie Brown/Paradise? It'll suck if it's still not properly dark :(

8.45? Seems very early :/

ETIAW - sounds great when it's so nice out :)

Underrated and Overrated
Parachutes: Overrated: Feel bad for saying this but Yellow :( still love it though Underrated: Spies - don't see much love for this on here A Rush of Blood to the Head: Overrated: None! Underrated: A Whisper X&Y: Overrated: Speed of Sound - not a huge fan Underrated: The rest of the album! One of their best Viva la Vida: Overrated: Cemeteries of London - just can't like this song Underrated: Chinese Sleep Chant - all kinds of awesome! Mylo Xyloto: Overrated: Major Minus - it's good, but not one I listen to a lot Underrated: Paradise - one of their best, yes it's very mainstream but that should not change your opinion on the song...UFO is also another which I love but doesn't get much attention

MX is a journey, until...
I used to dislike it, but it's grew on me - I think it fits very well into the album. What I do think is that there should be another track between it and AHT - AHT would be fantastic after a song that starts of slow, and ends with a huge crescendo (e.g. Fix You) imo.

Pick three songs you'd like to see 'return' on the MX stadium tour
Life in Technicolor II (one of their best) White Shadows (epic!) And last but not at all least, the Twisted Logic version of Clocks. I absolutely love the the HWSTW version.

Pick three songs you'd like to see DROPPED on the MX stadium tour
1: In My Place - not really a huge fan of the song, and it's getting a bit old now 2: Up in Flames - I like it more than I did a few months ago, but something like Til Kingdom Come would be so much nicer 3: Yellow - love the song, but I hate how they play it live lately - way too fast I thought Lost! live was great, but didn't really go well with the balloons

The Coldplay Theme Park Thread
Up with the Birds - One of them very high 'swings' that go in a circle Major Minus - badass rollercoaster Gravity - one of them rides that take you high and suddenly drop you Bigger Stronger - a strength test sideshow A Coldplay theme park would be awesome :D

Coldplay @ BRIT Awards 2012 (Tues 21st Feb, O2 Arena, London) // Charlie Brown performance, MX album
Great performance - so glad they did Charlie Brown :D Well done to Adele for her awards, she deserved the best album award :) Blur were awful though, I like their songs but they seemed so pretentious and they sucked live...
-
What's your favorite song on Mylo Xyloto?
Charlie Brown without a doubt - I used to dislike the studio version but I've grown to love it :) But honestly, this is the only album (from any band!) I can listen to fully - I love every single song now. Certainly my favourite album ever :D
-
Best HLH Liver Version
I love the Rock am Ring version - I remember watching the live stream for it and sitting in amazement.
-
Charlie Brown Music Videos (Live & Studio - both videos in first post)
Am I the only one that thinks it's great? It fits the theme of the song perfectly! The hype surrounding the video was ridiculous, there's no way it could have ever lived up to it.
