9/11 Conspiracy
I admit, I believe a LOT went on that day that we'll never know about. But... If this was an excuse to go to war....... I just don't want to believe it, you know? It's sort of like how people believe Pearl Harbor was a set up so we could have a real excuse to enter WWII. That I never believed, and I don't know if I believe this conspiracy either. I don't have any trust in our government, don't get me wrong. I'm scared of the men ruling this country. But to think that our govt. officials would purposely kill over 3,000 of their own people... That's really horrifying. :stunned: Then again, warmongerers don't have much of a soul, do they? Gotta say, rereading all this and thinking about it more, I'm a wee bit freaked out...

British soldiers attacked defenceless Iraqi teenagers
Well, it can also be attributed to education. ANY type of education, really, affects who you are as a person. What you do and what you think is right. Like I said, if you aren't taught anything about the world or you don't want to learn anything about different people, then this is the result. Of course, the same can be said about VERY educated people who would willingly hurt a person. It can go either way. EDIT: I didn't see the second half of your response and realized I repeated a lot of what you said. I can't seem to get my thoughts in order on this... But I do think there is a relation between how educated you are and what your personal moral code is. Be it acedemic or social education... I don't know, I'm kind of sick and not really thinking clearly enough for a debate at the moment ;)

Your level of education can correspond with your morality, I believe. If you don't know anything about the world, if you're uneducated in that respect, then you aren't going to give a shit if you hurt a foreign person who means nothing to you. It makes me sick, the entire situation.

New York Weather...
Here in Rhode Island we got over a foot... Well, at least where I live, which is one of the highest points in the state. Pretty crazy all of yesterday, my mom almost got killed coming home when she got stuck in a white out on the highway (which they later closed). Still had school though :wideeyed: :veryangry2:

   I've always wondered who put that caption there... Hm.- *Any JAY-Z fans???*
Of course, I hate that too. It's completely baseless. Rap might not be my particular taste, but I'm not going to insult it or the people who like it. I mean, there are some songs and artists who I can't stand (no one pops into mind at the moment), but that goes for ALL genres. I'm all for trying something out, no matter how out of character. I won't insult a band/artist if I haven't really given them a good listen to. A lot of people just take the easy way out and spit out the same cliches they hear all over the place. It pisses me off to no ends. Kanye's got some really great songs, I can tell he'll be around for awhile. And I don't have a problem with that, as long as he continues to be as innovative and interesting as he is now.- *Any JAY-Z fans???*
Gotta say, I've never fancied myself a rap fan at all. I never identified with the music. But I have a lot of respect for Kanye and what he does, as well as Jay-Z. I never complain when Kanye comes on the radio. That's a big compliment from someone who usually bitches about that music genre! - Abbey Road : The Aftermath!
