  1. Is it good quality? I'm not downloading it if it's less than 128.
  2. I want some cheap gold.
  3. Maybe Chris and Will aren't as musically snobby as some of you lot. Anyway, check out JT doing LoveStoned live at MSG on YouTube. It's ace, and the I Think She Knows... bit is blatantly influenced by CP.
  4. So far, according to the poll, no one has thrown-up whilst listening to this song. Good to know.
  5. No more regular guitar is good!
  6. Sounds like a great single. Better than Talk anyway.
  7. Interesting. Thanks! By the way, cold25, you have the best avatar on this forum. Well done.
  8. Anyone else find this thread a bit scary?
  9. And Chris revealing his hatred of saxophones. Although you can kind of see it in the AROBTTH 'Making of...' video.
  10. It's a Coldplay record, what do you expect?
  11. Lovers in Japan (Acoustic) just got it's first play anywhere. It's very good. Go and download it. Oh, by the way, anyone getting the Sleeping Sun influence on some of the new songs? Particularly this one and the riff on LIT?
  12. Bit of a no-brainer really. Definitely QPM, and not just because of 'Lovers in Japan'. The KROQ one was probably more entertaining but the Q one was better because they actually answered some interesting questions.
  13. Yeah. But if the full band version of LIJ is better than the acoustic one then I'll be amazed. All these new songs are such a step up compared to their other stuff. Where were they going wrong before?
  14. This interview's really good. Chris is actually answering questions and there's lots of really interesting news (new album next year!). I hope someone's recording this... Yeah, Viva la Vida. Still not sick of this song. TUNE!
  15. Listening to Lovers in Japan... Fucking hell, this is bloody brilliant. I hate to get all emo but I've never ever had such a reaction to a song on first listen. I can really relate to the lyrics at this point for me. Hands down the best new Coldplay song. I'm so happy, yeah! Oh yeah, and the interview's not half bad.
  16. This radio station is bloody awful. A bit like Q magazine.
  17. Yeah. I think Radio 1 gig on the 12th. I'm hoping for something a bit better though (another free single, VLV... b-sides...).
  18. OR

Full title when I'm around other CP geeks. Viva la Vida when not.

    That sounds very likely.
  21. Ever heard of live looping? Radiohead do it. I don't mean to be rude but you really don't know what you're talking about. Why do you think they gave into authority by playing this show? Maybe they wanted to do it? 'Resisting authority' doesn't have to mean not doing stuff like MTV. Also, I think we're all forgetting that Viva la Vida is a brilliant song so even if they weren't too great tonight the music itself was ace.
  22. Yeah, the Dailymotion version isn't too bad at all.
  23. I just watched it. What are you talking about? It was fine...maybe less confetti next time though.
  24. Yeah, he's blatantly nervous but it's not as bad as some of you guys made out at all. Bits of it really don't sound like him, but musicallly it really worked as a "We're back!" moment and the crowd seemed to like it.
