Estamos Unidos Mexicanos is a concert that will take place in Mexico City on Sunday, October 8, featuring artists uniting to help the reconstruction and everybody impacted by the recent earthquakes. Coldplay will join this effort through a live transmission of some songs from their own concert that night at the SDCCU stadium in San Diego, California, which will air through Televisa and Univisión. To mark the occasion, Coldplay will also play a brand new song for the first time, with all benefits that this track generates destined to help relief efforts in Mexico and around the world. All proceeds from the band’s San Diego show will also go towards disaster relief efforts. Estamos Unidos Mexicanos es el nombre de un concierto que tendrá lugar en la Ciudad de México este domingo 8 de octubre y que ha reunido a artistas con la intención de ayudar a todos los afectados por los últimos terremotos así como ayudar en los trabajos de reconstrucción del país. Coldplay se sumará a este proyecto a través de una transmisión en vivo de algunas de las canciones que interpretarán en vivo en su concierto en el estadio SDCCU en San Diego, California y que también será emitido por Televisa y Univision. Can see Noel's artwork was influenced by AHFOD, haa. Also, that first track, I can see Noel taking that line (you've got to get yourself together) from Up&Up, perhaps right after Noel gave his solo to Jonny while working on it?! Definitely a departure from the usual Noel tunes. Maybe a bit more like that scrapped collab with Amorphous Androgynous?

yeahhhh....not sure I would recommend a Gibson as your first guitar like @spring1 said unless you're made of money. So the gap between the fretboard and the string is called the action. You def don't want it that high as its hard to play, but also don't want it too low as it'll produce a buzzing sound. You generally want it as low as comfortable for you without buzzing. To lower the action, it seems you'll want to lower the strings on the bridge side. This is where my recommendations start to end, as I don't own an acoustic and haven't lowered the action on one before. But you at least have something to google: how to lower action on acoustic guitar. Good luck, and like others mentioned, guitar is fairly easy to grasp (especially with the age of youtube tutorials). If I can do it, you can too.

Got a message back from Meg! The MTX is £29.99/$40 The MTX Deluxe is £65/$85. She stresses that the xyloband must be sent to them to reconfigure it in order for it to work. The fee to do this was posted before, so i'll leave it. This is a bit too rich for me, so perhaps i'll save the money, but hopefully this helps the rest of you out.

Sums it up well for me actually. Not those specific songs, but the feeling towards the Coldplay songs I find weakest. I don't hate the songs, but perhaps they don't do it for me.

^most of your comments in the parenthesis kinda contradicts the songs being in the WORST songs thread then. Like, Coldplay song X is bad (oh, but really i like it). I do agree with your last comment though. I believe the reason Chris gave was that the chanty bits are universal, and translates in any language. Whether they play Glastonbury or South Korea or Rio Janeiro, they're gonna know the chanty part of Viva, or Paradise, or whatever. Okay, I get that, but I wish it happened less as well.
