Glass of Water Live....
I wasnt too sure on this song first but I really like it now. The chorus is killer!

Albums of the Year: 2008
Pretty much all of the albums I've been wanting to hear this year have come out so I should be able to do a proper list soon. Just a few more weeks for Snow Patrol and Computerclub, and I've lost hope of new records from Lost Valentinos or The Boxer Rebellion appearing this year.

First listen I loved it. Second listen I wasn't so sure. Need to hear it a few more times before I make judgement.

Lost! digital EP
Probably! Though I would like to see some more releases between the release of the EP and the end of 2009.

A Message from Chris - [Lost! EP/Prospekt's March EP]
Poppy Fields, Lost featuring Jay Z, a remix of Lovers In Japan and a song called Now My Feet Wont Touch The Ground will now all be included bringing the tracklist up to 8. (Poppy Fields shares it's track number with Prospekts March). Which raises a question, will the EP have a single to promote it? (A track off the EP to go on radio and have a video anyway) Or will they just use Lost? If they do I'll be kind of disapointed.

Lost! digital EP
I dont think Famous Old Painters is gonna be on the digital EP, Chris says it's one of his favourite Coldplay songs so I think they're going to give that track a much bigger release. As for Lost+ on the Prospekts March EP, that's interesting... it could still be on two EPs?

It's quite a different direction :shocked2: but I guess after Spiralling that's not too surprising.

A Message from Chris - [Lost! EP/Prospekt's March EP]
Gaaah it's all so confusing! Rainy Day should be interesting regardless though. And I hope you're right about Poppy Fields!

When Did Music Become Real For You?
I've always loved music straight from the moment I was born, though the album that really changed me into a hardcore music fan was probably Neon Ballroom by Silverchair in 1999.

Well only 2 more days until we get to hear it, that's just as good.

A Message from Chris - [Lost! EP/Prospekt's March EP]
Life in Technicolor II - Wasn't this supposed to be the closer to thier 5th album? Maybe it still will be, but this seems a bit strange given what they've said about the song before. Postcards from Far Away - I hope the short one minute thing played live was just a preview of this song and the actual version will be at least 3 minutes and have lyrics. Rainy Day - Wasn't this just an early version of Death And All His Friends? I really love the intro to DAAHF which is what this is supposed to be presumably and I don't like the second half so much. But then we could be completely wrong and Rainy Day could be a totally different song altogether! Prospekt's March - I hope this isn't anything like The Dubliners or The Goldrush, I want the title track to be a proper song! Lost! (featuring Jay-Z) - I'll make sure to avoid this song. Sounds like it'll be awful. Odd there was no Dubliners or Goldrush  We're still waiting on Famous Old Painters, Leftrightleftright, Lhuna, Lukas and Poppy Fields as well as Dubliners and Goldrush, perhaps they'll be on the 5th album or another EP released in the future. The Dubliners could end up on the Lost! EP I guess.

Lost! digital EP
Dont get your hopes up too high for new tracks on this EP fellas, I'm pretty sure they want to save them for the EP. I'm thinking - Lost! (Album Version) - Lost! (Jay Z version) - Lost (Live) - Lovers In Japan (acoustic... maybe?)
-
Lost! digital EP
I'm still betting LIJ acoustic will make an appearance somewhere. Maybe a few live versions too, and possiby Lost? though that'd be strange as it was already a Violet Hill b-side. I'm not holding my breath for new songs as of yet, though I'll be pleasantly surprised if they do show up here!

Lovers In Japan !Should Be Next Single?
Thier fourth single I recon will be taken from the Prospekts March EP, and LiJ will probably be in a limited radio only release in certain countries or something like that.

X&Y - lets squash the myth
X&Y is my favourite Coldplay album. Better than all of them. In fact X&Y is my 5th favourite album of all time. So there.

guess 'Prospekt's march-EP' tracklist

Lost! 3 Single? 3tracks
For some reason the number 7 is in my mind. I hope I'm right, or wrong in the case that there might be more.
-
Lost! 3 Single? 3tracks
I'm still betting on LIJ acoustic as a b-side at some point.
-
The Oasis Thread
Has anyone else noticed they pretty much ripped the main riff of The Strokes "The Way It Is"? Still a good song though.
-
So Prospekt's March EP
I'm thinking the EP will contain the leftovers from Viva and the album will be focusing on more newer songs.

Lost! 3 Single? 3tracks
Remember this is only a promo, not the actual single. Like the Viva la Vida promo had the album version + radio edit, but the actual single had Death Will Never Conquer as a b-side. There is still some, if not minimal hope, though I'll probably put bets on LIJ acoustic as the b-side or something. Still, I guess this confirms Lost! as the 3rd single.
