OK so we should be hearing some tracks pretty soon hopefully, but by this point we've gotten a lot of descriptions of tracks on the album. Minus Violet Hill and Viva la Vida as we've heard them, what songs are you most excited to hear? From day 1 I've had a good feeling about Cemeteries of London, it was my favourite title in the original list and by the sounds of it it'll be this albums "White Shadows", my favourite track on X&Y. Though Chinese Sleep Chant also sounds like it'll be great.

Well, the german Violet Hill single is being released tomorrow. We should have it by the weekend at least.

VLV instantly become my song of the year. Up until this point that is, the album is still yet to come out!

I think the album version wont fade out at the acapella bit at the end and we'll get to hear a few more voices.

Just another surprise from Coldplay HQ. Strange, we started the day expecting to hear A Spell A Rebel Yell, but got Viva la Vida instead! Doesnt seem like anyone's remembered that ASARY was supposed to be released today now!

Yes, Wikipedia has just confirmed Lost! will be the second single with a Chris and Jonny fart-off as the b-side. But seriously, dont believe wikipedia unless it's sourced.

locust did say Viva la Vida would be a large contender for a single. And I think I read someone say somewhere that the version of VLV that we have is the "single" mix.

It seems kind of strange to me for a video to be coming out so late seeing as we've got another single in a few weeks. But hey, at least there is one.

I'm thinking there'll probably be another single off the record before albums release, and initial reports suggest 42. But this may no longer be the case with the amazing Viva la Vida circling the internet right now. So your thoughts? Discuss. 42 for third single and Cemeteries of London for 4th or am I totally wrong?

When I first heard Violet Hill - I was unsure at the first few listens. Though it grew on me and then I loved it. However at Viva la Vida - First listen I FUCKING LOVED IT!!! No room to grow for this one, I'm in love now!

Viva la Vida (song) is out now. Or a confused journalist who clearly is blind on the topic of Coldplay.

You'll get it when VLVODAAHF is released along with the rest of the songs. But you wont be able to get it anywhere else after that, unless they release it as a b-side for some region which they almost certainly will.

I recon we'll hear it before the release date. It's just a matter of when and how.

Course. I'm definately getting the physical version regardless.
