Haha! I love České pivo! I spent a week in Prague last summer and it was incredible. Beautiful city and great beer! I agree, it's the most important phrase in the Czech Republic. :D Oh and don't be worried about not speaking German. Everyone speaks English here. Even German Railways... well at least they try to speak English... "Sääänk juuuu for trävälling wis Deutsche Bahn!". :wacky:

Ja stimmt schon! Und in 3 Jahren heißt die Arena dann bestimmt wieder anders... :D Naja, wenn schon alle Schilder umgeändert worden sind, ist es vielleicht sinnvoll beide Arenanamen im Threadnamen zu erwähnen, auch wenn das Ticket noch LTU-Arena sagt. ;) Weiß noch nicht wie ich nach Düsseldorf komme, wahrscheinlich mit dem Auto über den Friesenspieß und nachts wieder zurück. :D

I bet they will show the nice stadium here and there. :D

Yeah the penalty kick out was very exciting! :) Bayern Munich won at the end although Van der Saar's behaviour was very unfair in my opinion! Oh and btw, I liked the spider-cam which ZDF television has used once again last night! Great pictures! :D

Is anyone watching Manchester United - Bayern Munich? Berbatov's overhead kick was incredible! Sadly - for ManU - the ball only hit the post. :P

Hey! Welcome to the forum! :D As I live pretty close to Bremen I might help you a bit. After the concert trains are running from Hannover to Bremen at 23:21 and 00:21 and normally it takes about 1 h 20 min. But Deutsche Bahn (German Railways) is a dump so sometimes you can't rely on them. :P As far as I know there are no other options to travel from Hannover to Bremen I'm afraid. The best way to get from Bremen Hauptbahnhof (central station) to Bremen Flughafen (airport) is tramway 6 or N6 (for Nachtlinie/night line). Usually Bremen transport operates 24 hours a week, but they haven't published a new timetable for the period after the current summer holidays yet so it might change a bit. I'm pretty sure you will arrive at the airport on time though. :)

Hey! I've spent the weekend in the beautiful city of Berlin (always worth a visit btw!) to see Snow Patrol (who were absolutely fantastic and who have worked in Berlin on their new material) and U2 at the Olympic stadium. Well, what more can I say? It was incredible!!! Probably the best gig I've ever seen. You felt that the band was extremely happy to be back in the capital where they've spent some time working on "Achtung Baby" and "Zooropa". The crowd (90.000 supporters) was in a good mood and I've spotted a lot of Danish, Polish, English and Dutch fans either. The setlist was pretty amazing. I was so happy to see them playing "Stay (Faraway So Close!)" as it always reminds me of my great time in Dublin last year. Bono said he wrote this song in Berlin. :wink3: My favourite performance was "Unknown Caller". I love this song so much! :D Other highlights for me were "One", "Where The Streets Have No Name" and "With Or Without You". At the end everyone was singing happy birthday to Nelson Mandela! Oh and during "Angel Of Harlem" three fans were allowed to play the instruments! :D Sadly my computer doesn't accept my SD cards anymore so I have to wait for a week to get my new macbook pro and to be able to upload some of my pictures. :) In the meantime... the setlist! :)

Wow, that's terrible! I'm a bit shocked! :( I didn't know her very well, but I've seen her twice in the front row when Coldplay performed in Hamburg and Berlin last year. She was probably one of Coldplay's biggest fans I'd say. It's a very sad day and my thoughts go out to her friends and family. RIP

The most important song for me is probably "Heal The World"! :D When I was young I've been to holidays at the Côte d'Azur in Southern France with my family and on the very last day someone broke into our car and stole everything including my favourite clothes and my gameboy. I was so sad and I remember that I listened to this song with my walkman when I was sitting at the police station. Odd story I know haha! But I always have to think of this story when I listen to this song. :) RIP Michael!

Wow, I just woke up and I was clicking through my bookmarklet when suddenly I read this terrible news! What a sad day! :( Although I've never been one of his biggest fans it feels a bit like someone has stolen a part of my youth now... RIP

Can't find the Mando Diao thread, but anyway... I really laughed so hard when I was watching the boxing match between Klitschko and Chagaev last Saturday. Suddenly Michael Buffer announced Mando Diao and their song "Dance With Somebody" which they've changed into "Fight With Somebody". :D It must have been the biggest gig they've ever done, because the boxing match took place in the AufSchalke Arena in Gelsenkirchen with an audience of over 61.000 (!). Tere päevast! :D If you'd only like to travel inside of Hannover, you don't really need a Lower Saxony ticket. Check up your concert ticket. If it says on the right side "Karte=Fahrschein ab 3 Std. vor Veranst.-Beginn bis Betriebsschl. für alle Verkehrsmittel des GVH (DB + der metronom 2. Klasse) gültig." it actually means that you're allowed to use public transport in Hannover for free 3 hours before the concert (which would be 4pm if I'm right) until closing hour. Apart from that the Lower Saxony ticket is a good value for money, no doubt. :) If you need any more information...
