  1. Hallo Anna! :nice: Hope you're doing well! :) I agree, 3:07 mins hurts the most! It's so horrible! :laugh3: Hey Nancy! :) The beginning isn't that bad, that's true. But after a while it only hurts! :D Well it's on the fifth position of the iTunes single charts. I don't know if they're the same charts as the official one. But I don't think so. ;)
  2. Sorry if someone else already mentioned it here... So today I was looking for a song on iTunes when suddenly I noticed that Coldplay's "The Scientist" was currently on the fifth position of the single charts. :stunned: It just took me a few seconds to find out that some people of the (terrible) Popstars show actually (tried to) perform (ed) this song last week. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caWwyeoMC60]YouTube - Andy, Daniel, Elif, Esra und Sandra 4. Workshop[/ame] Bad or very bad? What do you think? :D
  3. Wow Thalia, I don't know if I ever mentioned it before here, but you're sooo talented!!! :stunned: Glad to know that graphic design is what you're aiming for. You're definitely on the right path. :) Gute Arbeit! :D
  4. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYI5imaAzRk]YouTube - 17 Oktober 2009, Sunderland - Liverpool (1-0), Darren Bent Funny ''balloon'' goal[/ame] :wacky: :D
  5. Why wouldn't it make any sense? :P Is the Sky tower worth a visit? And the casino? :D Oh it always looked like I'm going to Auckland in February, because I was supposed to write all my exams at the end of January. But now it seems that all my exams have been moved to the week before Christmas and the second week of January. :D So I might already fly to NZ in mid-January (summertime!!!) which whould be absolutely great as I can escape the cold and grey nastiness of a German winter. :) I plan to visit Wellington either no worry haha! :laugh3:
  6. Ah you finally got your U2 concert in Southern Germany! :D Congratulations! I have the same problem. I probably won't be in Germany for most of the time next year. That's why I eventually decided not to buy any tickets for the Hannover show. My dad bought two tickets for him and my mother though. ;)
  7. Well can you recommend some great sights in Auckland not full of any tourists? Some nice beaches for example? Or do you know some great clubs, bars, pubs, steak houses or other nice places to hang out? :) That would be amazing! I'll keep my fingers crossed for New Zealand's "All Whites" in a few weeks! It would be absolutely incredible if Germany faces New Zealand in South Africa next year! :D
  8. Have a great time in Kaiserslautern! If you need some advices for Berlin just let me know as well! It's like my second home already. :D I would either recommend a visit at the end of October, because of the Festival of Lights or a visit at the beginning of November. On November 9th we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
  9. Oh I always thought you would currently live in Norway! :laugh3: In which district do you live? I'm still looking for a cheap flat... Do you have any special insider tips for me besides the "normal" places of interest? I would be very grateful. I'm planning to see as much of Auckland and the country as possible. ;)
  10. It was a very exciting match indeed! :D But I'm very sure that Russia will make it through the play-offs. They have an excellent team. I also like Guus Hiddink. :) I've watched Denmark-Sweden on the Danish tv channel last evening. Great match, but I wanted Sweden to win the game so that both countries would have good chances to qualify for the World Cup. Now the crybaby from Portugal has the final say... :/ One of the strongest teams during the play-offs will be Bosnia and Herzegovina for me. Salihovic, Ibisevic, Misimovic, Dzeko... :shocked2: They're all incredibly good. Hope New Zealand will win the return match on Wednesday. I'll keep my fingers crossed for them. :)
  11. Well there's still a small chance for the Czech Republic provided that you beat Poland this evening and Slovakia wins against Slovenia. ;) Hope you will make it, too! Lovely people... the Czechs! :)
  12. Oh ja! Nach dem Platzverweis wurde ich ja dann doch etwas nervös! :D Auf Eurosport lief nebenbei auch noch das U20 WM Halbfinalspiel gegen Brasilien! Beide Spiele waren sehr spannend! ^^
  13. Well, but I will have two autumns in a row! It's the least favourite season for me. Oh well, you can't have everything. :) Hey Rick! How are you? Yes I'm moving to Auckland, at least for 6 months. :)
  14. I will be a kiwi from the beginning of February 2010! Does that count as well? :P How are things over there? How's the weather? :D
  15. Sometimes England seems to me like a third world country when it comes to football on tv! :P "Sky Sports" and "ESPN" don't show all Premier League and Championship games live, just only a handful of games. I read somewhere that they are not allowed to broadcast Saturday afternoon games because of an English law, but that's not really an excuse IMO. And when it comes to international matches ITV only has the rights to show the home games. Where is the glorious BBC? Here "Sky Sport" and "LIGA total!" show all games of the 1. and 2. Bundesliga live and simultaneously while "ARD" and "ZDF" have the rights for all international matches (home and away). The same with "Sky Calcio" and "Rai Uno" in Italy, "Canal+" and "TF1" in France, "Sky Austria" and "ORF1" in Austria etc. :) :(
  16. I was content with the current government of the CDU and SPD party. They weren't as bad as everyone says I think, especially if you compare them with politicians of other countries. Now with the FDP we have the worst case scenario IMO. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4OpJUeLOBc]YouTube - Westerwelle: Man spricht Deutsch....[/ame] It's not what you say, but how you say it. Insisting on speaking German is one thing, the way how you do it is another. I think Westerwelle's behaviour towards the BBC journalist was very disrespectful. Typical for a demagogue though... I completely agree.
  17. 2010 Coldplay 2014 Football World Cup 2016 Olympic Games Well done South America! :D But I'm sad for people in Chile and other parts of the continent who didn't get a concert...
  19. I don't know one person in my circle of friends and in my family who actually likes her. :laugh3: There was a strange atmosphere at my uni today. Everyone seemed to be quite shocked about the results. Well the republic is very old, so I guess it were mostly the older people who voted for the CDU. Btw, does anyone know the election campain clip of the Green party? It couldn't get any better! :D Lazy Merkel! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQYfuMPt1ao]YouTube - Szenen einer Ehe[/ame] Good night Germany! Well said Felix! I completely agree! :)
  20. Poor Germany!!! That's all I can say... Now Merkel's forming a new coalition with the centre-right and pro-business party FDP. A complete desaster if you ask me! We all know that the economy went down with a coalition between CDU and FDP during the 90's and that was not only because of the reunification. - Guido Westerwelle = new Foreign Secretary :inquisitive: I've never seen such a figure of fun in my life before sorry! - Tax cut In times of indebtedness... great idea! Our children will be grateful about it. - Withdrawal of the nuclear phaseout Wow excellent idea! Our nuclear plants are safe according to Merkel.... tell that the inhabitants who live close to the power plant in Krümmel near Hamburg. And where will the government now store nuclear waste?! In Gorleben? In Asse? Impossible! Minimum wage, educational deprivation, deprivation of employment rights, electricity generated by nuclear power.... welcome to the new Germany! All in all, a bad day for Germany's Social Democracy! I'm so glad I'm going abroad for a while soon, so that I'm far away from German politics. Wait! Westerwelle = Foreign Secretary? There's no escape aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
  21. Wow three gigs in Germany including Hannover which even got Coldplay last month, too. Crazy! Went to see U2 live in Berlin this summer and it was one of the best concerts ever personally. But well, sadly I won't be in Germany for a very long time from February 2010, so I really hope for some more international dates to be announced soon. :wacky:
  22. Hartelijk bedankt voor de moeite Stefan! :D Jij hebt mijn dag gered! Dank je wel!!!
  23. What about this? [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4Pg-2LP76g]YouTube - M83 - Skin of the Night[/ame]
  24. Before I'm leaving for Berlin I just want to wish everyone two amazing days in London! :D I'm already excited about all the pics, videos and reviews taken from the shows! Have a great time guys!
