I always take my own snacks (usually a bag of sweets and a drink) when i go to the cinema these days, have done for years. I do like popcorn but the stuff they do at our cinema is way overpriced now.

Yeah, from that line-up Hurts are the only ones who really interest me (although i do like a few of Eels' songs, but i'm not sure i like them enough to want to see them live). I'll defo post pics if i manage to get some decent ones, will probably try to get a few videos too. :wacky:

Oh, i'm only seeing Hurts (and whoever's supporting, no idea who that is). This concert at Somerset House is part of what's called their "Summer Series" of concerts - Hurts are just one of a number of acts playing there throughout this month and the competition i entered was for passes to any of those gigs (so obv i chose Hurts :P). I'm slowing trying to get my mum into Hurts. I've had their cd in my car for about a month now and i've been playing it every time she's in my car (which is maybe like once a week or something) and yesterday when Blood, Tears and Gold came on she said, "I've heard this one before, what is it?" and i told her and she said, "I like this one." It's working. :D

Somehow that little mess up just made me love them even more. :wacky: My faves last night were GPASUYF cos it just rocked so hard, and Shiver - was amazing, my heart stopped when i heard the first couple of notes of that song. :dead:

What an amazing show last night, i watched the whole thing on BBC2 and they totally blew me away. I had to stop myself singing along cos everyone else in our house was in bed. They did seem pretty nervous to begin with but that seemed to disappear after the first couple of songs. They were all really going for it - i haven't seen Will hit the drums that hard in ages! Fantastic set list as well - i almost died when they started playing Shiver!! :shocked2: GPASUYF totally rocked, VLV, Yellow, In My Place etc were, as usual, massive sing-along anthems and the new songs seemed to fit in perfectly. Us Against The World was beautiful, despite the erm, hiccup, in the middle. :lol: But the way they just apologized and just re-did that verse made me love them even more, it was so sweet. :wacky: I'm just so proud to be a Coldplay fan right now, i can't wipe the huge grin off my face. :D

I think i love Guy Garvey - funny, charismatic and sings like a fucking angel. :wacky:
