  1. Less than an hour away now! :D
  2. Sucks that the BBC didn't show ANY of their performance on TV. It doesn't even seem to be on their Glastonbury site/iplayer. You'd think they could at least do that. :(:disappointed:
  3. We've been having problems with our broadband for the past few days so when i managed to get online just a little while ago and found out about this new b-side i went a bit nuts lol!! :shocked2::bomb::wacky::dance::freak: So i just went and listened to it online (thank you BBC iplayer!) and OMG i looooooooooooove it!!!:D It's soooo beautiful - Chris' voice (OMG it's so deep in places :stunned::dead:), the piano, the lyrics... wow. I know it's been said already but to me it's very remniscent of Gravity/X&Y era Coldplay. I just LOVE it!! I've already preordered the digital EP off itunes AND the CD (i like to have physical copies of my music too.)
  4. Yeah, i know what you mean. I think Blood, Tears and Gold is a really sad song, but it's also one of my favourites.

  6. Aww thanks guys. :wacky: I've said this before, but Coldplay honestly have some of the nicest, friendliest fans i've ever come across. :nice::heart:
  7. Well for starters, i have no idea how you'd go about it. Besides, i'm really shy anyway and i don't think i'd be brave enough to actually approach them if i did happen to see them/one of them. :embarrassed:
  8. I am sooo jealous of all you guys who've actually MET them. It's one of my biggest dreams to meet them, although i think if it ever happened i'd probably lose the power of speech or just only be able to speak totally incoherent jibberish. :(
  9. ^^ LOL, that's such an odd song to hear in a motorbike store, but still cool that you heard a CP song while you were out and about. :D
  10. When you're watching The Simpsons and it makes your day when it turns out to be the episode with Coldplay in it. :D
  11. Snap! :D
  12. So wrong, and yet... so right!! :wink3::stunned:

  14. Well, i've applied. I've been to the roundhouse before and i loved it there so i would absolutely LOVE to get tickets to this gig, so fingers crossed.
  15. I just happened to see about the last 20 minutes of that tonight. Wish i'd known it was going to be on beforehand cos what i saw of it was great.
  16. He's so gorgeous. First thing i thought of when i saw this pic = BUM!!!! :bomb:

  18. The "socialite life" icon couldn't be more appropriate!:lol:
  19. Well even if it was meant to make you laugh, i still thought for the most part it was rather silly and just not that scary really.
  20. I'm dying to see this movie!! :stunned: I just finished watching Drag Me To Hell. It was alright but tbh i'd hoped for better - a movie that makes you LOL in places where it's actually meant to be scary is defo not a good sign. 6/10
  21. As soon as i heard the lyric "i hear those crocodiles ticking round the world" (assuming it is crocodiles of course), i thought of that Peter Pan reference actually. Thinking about it, i think it probably IS crocodiles now, cos in the story, as hux90 said, Captain Hook can hear the crocodile that is after him cos it previously swallowed a clock and Hook can now tell when it's near cos he can he it ticking - imo the song seems to have quite an anxious, paranoid feel to it lyrically, there's a lot of "be careful what you do/be careful what it is you're trying to do" and "Don't believe a word, it's just us against the world," and a feeling of always looking over your shoulder eg "Got one eye on the road and one on you" - just like Captain Hook is always looking over his shoulder now for this crocodile that's after him. It may turn out that i'm completely wrong of course, but that's my interpretation of it anyway.
  22. What i wouldn't give to be that mic. :dead:
  23. Really liking Switchblade Smiles but Velociraptor is awesome and the chorus is mega fun to sing along to! :awesome:
  24. OK, which of you bastards decided to put superglue on my mic?!
  25. I CANNOT get over how incredible he's looking atm - the new hair, the arms... :bomb::dead: And this is so beautiful i've just made it my new wallpaper. :wacky: Thanks Twisted mind for making it. :nice:
