^ Great post 2732, but I also should have made clear that there are to be no mentions of plastic bags either in this thread. If you really must recount such stories, could you please either censor them or replace them with words less likely to upset the plastic-phobic amongst us such as 'carrot' or 'newspaper'? Many thanks once again in advance! :)

A bit, yes, especially as a male it's not cool to join in (much as I may want to at times hehe). Once again I thank you all for your co-operation in keeping this thread squee-free :)

People called rainy day radiohead like
I gave up on Radiohead in 1997 after a very disappointing set at Glastonbury (yes I'm old!!) but all Rainy Day reminds me of is The Beatles.

Vitriolic outburst? Lol. You know full well why I reacted like that, and if you troll me again in future I'll react the very same way. Let's leave that then there, unless you insist on carrying this on. Putting hostilities aside from my side, then, yes I have that film on video, it's fantastic :) The way they interact and socialise is amazing, extremely uplifting, and just so cute. I appreciated this story being posted here and was just messing around with my initial response. I have a dry sense of humour that is usually pretty obvious to most people, and I saw a joke here I couldn't resist :P

^ Was just jesting, shame you didn't spot the humour ;) Actually loved the piccies of those little bubbas, and always been a fan of meerkats. Nairobi is also a special place that means a lot to me, as it's where my grandfather who I never met is buried. I have a mission to go there to retrieve his remains once I'm sure it's safe enough to do so.

Babies of already small animals are even smaller - is this news? What next - 'The Sun is Discovered to be Hot'? 'Apparently George W. Bush is no longer President of the USA' or perhaps the rather scandalous but nevertheless quite amazing 'Scientists Discover that Grass is Green'?

Life in Technicolor II - big time MEH
I see no resemblance to Lovers in Japan whatsoever, other than the fact that they may be in similar keys, and are both wonderful. The only fail I see round here is this thread, and your attitude.

Any Advice? (universities)
How about Leeds? I went there. Cracking nightlife, pretty good academic reputation, not too expensive to live round there. And most importantly rather good fish and chips :D

Any Advice? (universities)
Academically? I thought it was very sports-centred. Also it's very rural, isn't it?

The paps all know exactly where they live already. The problem is potentially dangerous fans.

I'm afraid.....
Anorexics and those with other eating disorders can keep their conditions hidden sometimes for years, so if it's come to your attention I'm afraid there's a chance it may already be pretty serious. I agree that the internet can sometimes scare when you look up these things (aka finding out the stuff the doctor kept from you) but in this case you're not the patient, so I say you can't have enough information in order to try to do what you can to help. Hopefully someone on here who's beaten the illness will get in touch privately with some advice. If not I'd recommend joining a medical forum, there are some fantastic ones about.

Pictures have been posted before alas, when things went beyond a little bit stalkery round here. The links and pics were removed, thank goodness.

Your custom EPs
Thanks a lot for the nice comments guys :) I'd love to hear what playlists others have made, not really album-length ones, but more EP-length as I wrote. I'm thinking of making another one around the theme of the sun. I've either never heard 'A Ghost' (in which case it must be one of the few tracks I haven't!!) or have forgotten it (unbelievable I know). I'm gonna go straight off now and track it down, thanks a lot! I agree about having Prospekt's March in there too. I did think of that, but it was already in the other EP :laugh3: I'll add it, but can never, ever leave out Gravity for it. It'll have to be another bonus track :P
