Are there really pit tix available? I am so freaking tempted to fly to FL from CA for this last US show. I need to convince my husband that I *need* to do this. We have enough ff miles, but he already thinks I'm nuts. I went to the first US show of this tour in July, 2008 in LA, and I need to see the last US show, right? I would love to be in pit this time, we had great seats last weekend, but oh, the energy of the pit would be amazing. Is it a big pit or a small one? Does anyone know? At the Home Depot Center last Saturday, the pit was enormous - like 2000-3000 people. But at Verizon Amphitheater in Irvine the following night, the pit was only like 150-200.

Thanks for those videos! Now help me try to convince my husband that I need a mini vacation to go to Tampa to see them. I was at the opening night of the whole tour in Los Angeles on July 14, 2008, so it's only fitting that I see the closing show in the US in Tampa, right? We have enough ff miles for me to get from CA to FL, and hotel points - I just need to rent a car and buy a pit ticket. I won't eat much, I promise.

Oh, man...I am so freaking tempted to come to this show or to Tampa. All the way from California. I saw them twice last weekend and I *need* to see them once more. We have enough United miles for a free ticket...sigh...I need to convice my husband that I need a mini vacation. lol And I would definitely want Pit tickets. Hmmm, what to do...

And I wish they hadn't done the Capitol records show because they missed the "Cocktails with Coldplay" contest that I won from KROQ. R #42 just posted in his blog about the Capitol records concert and how they had to take a helicopter between Burbank and John Wayne airports. It looks like the band didn't even arrive at Verizon until dusk. Well, I'm outside the gates, lol. Not that I'm proud of this, but did you see any of the Real Housewives of Orange County? That's the gated community the original cast lives in. But not all of us who live in OC are like them and most of us were highly embarrassed. But it's like 3 miles down the street from me. But it's a nice place, and great for kids. Hint hint boys.

I just walked by the sound guys after the show and asked, one guy said he thought they were gone, but the other guy handed him one for me. And I spoke with Brooke - he was easy to find and very nice.

Do you wanna be the one to tell them? Oh, and I'm only 10 minutes away from Verizon Amphitheater, my favorite venue to see them at. So they can do a show there whenever they want, although my backyard is always available. :laugh3:

Well, I think they should all just move down here near me - Newport Beach, Laguna Beach or Coto de Caza are nice areas. Easy airport access, an hour to Los Angeles, near the beach so Chris can surf, it's an ideal location. :laugh3:

Ok, I've always lived in a house in the suburbs, either near Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, and now in Orange County, CA. It always surprises me how nice New York apartments/condos look from the inside based on their nondescript outsides.

So Chris and Gwyneth are in Tribeca, Guy and Jonny are not too far from there. Where's Will's place?

You know that Jonny's little girl is named Violet, don't you? She's almost 2 years old.

We were in orchestra, row U, right on the aisle they go up to get to C stage. Then we moved down to the 3rd row when those LA let's-leave-early-to-beat-traffic types started leaving. No one said anything when we moved down. :) I was at Saturday's show, too. But we were in the floor section behind the pit, and the pit was ginormous, so it was hard to see. The pit in Irvine was tiny.

I took almost the same pics as you. This is from 7/19 in Irvine. We weren't pit, but we moved down to the 3rd row for Scientist and LIT2.

I know...it wouldn't open between 11:30-12am here in CA.

That's too funny...I was so freaked out that we would miss it because the line went almost down to the water park. We only live 10 minutes away from Verizon, and my husband decided he wanted to stop at a drive thru and get a sandwich and it took forever. So I was stressed out, lol. I didn't need to worry - but I know they're on a tight schedule and if we were supposed to be there at a certain time, then dammit, I wanted to be there. I'm still kind of bummed about the whole meet and greet, but I have amazing pictures, and memories.

I know, it turned out unbelievable. If anyone wants a full-resolution jpg, pm me and I will email it to you directly.

He has an awesome genuine smile and such white teeth, lol. It was a beautiful thing to see. I will always be a Will-luver, but Jonny is a close second now. He was right in front of us for the concert so I had to look past him to see Will and watching him, well, it was a new experience for me. lol

Will is just freaking amazing. I keep watching everyone's posted videos and it seems like I missed so much because I was mesmerized by Will and the way he attacks those drums. He's like a drug, I want to tear myself away from watching, but I just can't. Chris was awesome when we met him, they were running so late, but he shook my and my husband's hands and apologized for being so late.

Did you go to the Home Depot show, too? My son and I were there Saturday and my husband and I saw them Sunday night. We had much better seats Sunday night, not that I sat, but still...and while Saturday was incredible, I had so much more fun Sunday - especially after I met Chris and Will. :bomb:

Oh, I'm so sad, I miss them too. I briefly met Chris last Sunday before the concert, but I then had to turn my full attention to Will. Freaking nice guys, and I'm just so so sad it's over for now. But I did find this pic in the other camera we brought to the show. This was during our all to brief meet and greet, and I didn't realize my husband took them. Not the greatest, but we were *right* there, these were taken before shaking Chris's hand and the pic with our group. And before i glued myself to Will for our group shot. lol
