Exacly. Coldplays lyrics are never such a poor like the story in this video. So why the video could not have been more movie like ?

Firstly the original video is to fast - 1-2 sec per cut and all shots are to close (very close to close-medium - why no wider ? and a little longer ?). The story... ehhh. there is no story in it. He stoles the car. She already knows him. They know where they meet. Go to show. Kiss on the couch. Paint the car. Fire a flare. Boring! I should/could be like: - he is stoling a car - she is on the street, looking for sth, somekind of borred or lonely - he is somewhat poor, has hard life but he likes it, happy with that, gets a lot of excitment, adrenaline from action he is involved in everyda

+ Colors, spinning lights, the party theme (most of) +/- Vocal synchronization could be better - those short clips mixed in previous live version was great so my hopes were high - im dissappointed: some kissing, on couch scenes were just silly, shots are bad, editing also, bad directing imo affect this all building video on very close to medium shots with this high tempo (1-2sec per shot) is always very risky Could gave sth between 6-4 but I was really hoping for great video so I gave it 0!!!!

Thats the main problem of the song. Only the bass line at the ending is making an effort to pull the song up but it's not enough. This song is a poorer version of Lukas. Especially when it comes to guitar riffs :). But i really like the effort of creating easygoing/coldplay/clubbing/summer/dance/hit.
