you can download programs that enable you to watch DVDs from any region. i use AnyDVD :D and that's definitely true about music and videos these days. thank god for bands like coldplay for keeping up the posterity and integrity :nice:

if the dress wasn't falling off at the top, i'd say it wasn't bad at all. i just wish she'd keep her hair a bit more natural of a color. i mean, look at her roots! just slightly less platinum and uniform, with more subtle higlights and more gold and i think it would be perfect.

get cracking on your postcards, guys! november 21 is fast approaching, and it would probably be easiest if you make your postcard NOW and just write on the address and bring it to the post office when we get the address :D. once we get the address, i'll make a thread for everyone to show off their cards before they send them off :dance:

i think the italian and chilean coldplay websites are already involved, thanks to lore and pat :D as for widgets, i would figure they're really hard to make and to make interactive. i would assume that the best we're going to get is an image that links to the www.coldplaying.com/postcards thread, but hey, i could be wrong. i just hope debs gives us the address when she told us she would. it's not that i don't trust her, it's just that i know she's really busy all the time, and i doubt we're at the top of her priority list :\ i have to wait a couple days, until the 25th or 26th, to print out my postcards, because that's when i go home and get access to a good printer. i printed out one and made another last time i was home, but i've changed my mind on one of them, and i've somehow managed to lose the back templates i printed :dozey:. at any rate, i want to use semy's templates anyway, so i'll just get mine off a couple days late.

i already asked semy to make a banner for this site that's similar to the desktop, and he said it would be easy, so i think that's possibly on the way. people could probably take the smaller version of it and use it places with semy's permission. he also has that lovely one in his sig...maybe if i asked, we could all nick that to use in our own sigs? i definitely have to ask first, though. also, ian: is there any way possible for you to send out a mass-PM to every member when we get the address? i'll even write the PM if you want--all you'd have to do is send it! i've been PC all my life. two years ago when i had to get a computer for uni, i seriously considered a mac, but i went for PC again because i'm well versed in them and can fix their minor problems and hiccups on my own. however, when i'm in the market again in a few years, i think i'll almost definitely go mac. they just seem to run so much smoother and have a much faster start-up time and less freezing. has anyone ever run windows on a mac? is it better than running windows on a PC? is it worse than running mac OSX or whatever they're up to now?
