i don't drink because i see what it does to people. not only alcoholics, but (especially) teenagers too young to drink under US laws anyway. it's ABSURD the way they drink and party, it's absolutely disgusting. i'm not anti-alcohol, i'm anti-alcohol abuse, and that's all i see, living on a college campus. i used to drink minorly in high school, though not to get drunk. i hardly thought twice about drinking then, because it was always in a safe, controlled environment, and no one abused it there. they might have gotten a little silly, but it was never on the scale that i see it every friday and saturday night here. anyway, enough ranting. my point is that i think you've drank too much if you have anything more than a tinge of a headache in the morning. i don't think anybody needs more than two to unwind enough to facilitate a good time.

i want more jaffa cakes :wacky: i got sent some for my birthday, and they're wonderful. too bad they're like $5 a box here :disappointed:

i don't know how leasing would really work in england, if its different than in the US. not that i know a lot about that, either...or cars in general. but i would go with honda or toyota first, then anything japanese, then anything german. stay AWAY from american! (though that might not be that hard if you're in england :P) and look at hybrids! the honda civic hybrid and the toyota prius especially :D

i generally trust them, though i haven't been reading them as much lately as i should. that said, little wayne, 4 stars? coldplay, 3? i think they might be eating their words with VLVOD, since it gets better with time, but i think they were right in giving X&Y 3 stars originally. i just don't like reviews in general. different albums mean different things to different people.

haha, well this is all for the roadies too, i would imagine. not just the four guys. i think will's quit smoking, but doesn't jonny still? last i heard, he was trying to quite unsuccessfully, but i dont remember where i heard that. and i always found it funny that they asked for socks :P

ah, thanks for the heads up :D but that's kind of ridiculous, in some ways. i know most music is released in the US on tuesdays, but i feel like a major store should be prepared to post it whenever its released, regardless of day of the week. this is fricking itunes! :P

we're not going to come to your house and hunt you down if it's in an envelope :P. we'd just rather it not be so all the postcards look like postcards upon first look and they all look the same. if that's the only way to protect it, put it in an envelope. however, office supply stores and craft stores sell this stuff which is basically a huge sheet of clear plastic on a roll which is sticky on one side. if i were you, to protect it, i'd get some of this and stick it to the postcard to "seal" it, effectively, so the embroidery doesn't get pulled or damaged. (actually i recommend EVERYONE trying to find this sticky velum stuff to protect your cards with, even if they're regular paper :D). it makes the cards look more professional, anyway. in short: we'd prefer no envelopes, but if it's the only way it's the only way. and we can't come hunt you down for it :P

i don't really know exactly where we stand on the debs gift. i really wish there was some way we could get the flowers idea to work.

because it's sunday, i woke up really late and ate a hot dog, fries, and some popcorn chicken for breakfast. and sprite :P. i didn't really feel like breakfast food.

black and navy annoys the hell out of me, moreso than black and brown :P. then again, dark wash jeans go with pretty much everything, so if you're counting that as navy, then i think it would look great :D
