my brother and i fought ruthlessly when we were younger. i really disliked him until like a year or two ago. i think if both people are little, its not that huge a deal, but the older you get and the bigger the age gap is, its more and more inappropriate.

i've been having the dream a lot recently where you're dreaming that you're up and getting ready for the day, but you're really not. i do it like four times before i ACTUALLY wake up, even though there are things screwy and wrong with the worlds in the dream-versions of me waking up. i had a dream a few weeks ago, though, that i somehow conned my way into living in the offices of rolling stone magazine, which was like some normal-looking house in california, and peoples' bedrooms doubled as their offices. my brother and me and a friend or two just decided to live there. it was very odd.

haha, just stressed with mounds of work, i guess. i'm still on an election high :D nah, i'm just pessimistic because there's almost no reason for her not to have emailed us back by now. i was thinking maybe we might hear something once they go back to the UK after november 26th and are back near home base, but that's SUCH a long wait, and we don't even know for sure if debs is with them (and even if she is, i don't think that's a very good excuse for complete silence :P). it's crossed my mind (and lore's) that there might be a technical problem going on here, but i would assume problems with email inboxes on either end would have been resolved pretty quickly.

if the lyrics for LIT2 are THIS great so far, i think i might have a heart attack upon hearing the full version :dead: i'm really itching for "now my feet won't touch the ground" now too.

won't hurt anything. ask away. the oracle proved with alison's question that they're aware of the same question coming in numerous times, so you might as well do it and do it more than once :D *sigh* i'm beginning to wonder if debs will EVER get back to us. she was so good about it the first time! what changed? why can't she send us a one-line email explaining what's going on? :bigcry:

^thanks! :nice: you know, i bet the only reason that the guys decided to do another leg of the tour in the US this october and november was so that they could be in the country for election day! :lol: i bet they all sat around and said "we want to do another leg of the US, but when?" and i bet chris started bouncing and said "EARLY NOVEMBER 2008. OBAMA." :P

this is my order too :D. LIT2 all the way. it knocked my socks off, and it was even more epic because i wasn't expecting it to. i didn't think lyrics would add THAT much to the song and i didn't think LIT could get any better, but i don't know if i've ever been so wrong. i explode a little every time i hear it. and i like the live version of glass of water much better, too. chris's vocal seemed to have much more force and energy, and the first bit with the verse was almost too slow on the EP version, IMO. i still love it though :D the completely unheard one that i'm most looking forward to now is definitely "now my feet won't touch the ground," because that line appears in arguably my two favorite VLVOD-era songs ("strawberry swing" and "LIT2"), and i've always had a rather disproportionate love for the song "no more keeping my feet on the ground" from the old days. i think its title gives it high promise for being completely epic in my book :D. and nick, how did you miss the release dates?! :lol: it's out in the US on november 25th, but it will almost definitely leak around the 20th or so when the first countries get it :dance:

heh, well "met" might be a strong word. i went to an obama rally last april in harrisburg PA and waited for three hours to get a place near the railing, and he came by to shake my hand. basically he said "hello, thank you for coming" and i said "h-h-h-h-h-h-hel-llo s-s-s-irr! :stunned:" :lol:. and then i waited around after and stalked him a bit and shook his hand again :P and last sunday, i got front-row ticket upgrades from a coldplay roadie in NJ. and those are only two of the effing mind-blowing things to happen to me this year :P and picking a least favorite coldplay song is like...picking a least favorite m&m based on its color or something. i think chris once said "picking a least favorite radiohead song is like picking my least favorite model" :lol:

first of all, i consider it basically a double album that got its second half a bit late in the game, so i feel like i can't really say just on principle. but also, i couldn't make a call just on clips of 4 songs.

why must i have fat legs? :bigcry: i got my boots today, which i ordered in EXTENDED CALF because i know my legs are a bit beefier than most, and they're STILL tight. my left leg is much fatter than my right leg, i've noticed. there's noooo hope of me ever wearing anything thicker than leggings under these, and i really wanted to wear pants under them like, all the time. i'm debating exchanging them for a half size up just to get an extra 1/3" on the calf size :sad:

i was a wreck last night at the election party. i have never felt like that before in my life, not even when i met barack, not even when i was front row at coldplay. i thought that about rainy day too! i love that one. i have to say, PM is my least favorite out of them so far, but that basically means nothing, since it's mindblowing.

i do generally agree. i thought the live version had more...something. more energy, more emotion, more power. not that i don't like this one, but i expected something a bit more. but i like, cry every time i hear LIT2. i do so much excited/in love crying these days: coldplay concerts, coldplay ticket upgrades, new coldplay music, OBAMA...

:thinking: am i missing something, or is this a new track somehow available? i thought it was just LIT2, GOW, PM, and rainy day....

i wish they'd give us all of LIT2 right now. i think that would tide me over until whenever it leaks on here. because i really need the entire song. i think i may explode :bomb:

^haha, thanks man :D i honestly believe that LIT2 is one of the songs chris was talking about when he said they were going to release a song everyone needed to hear before they die. and i wasn't excited about LIT2 until today. i thought it couldn't get any better, seriously, and i was looking forward to the new stuff that we haven't heard any of than something we'd essentially had half of. but now...it's fricking ridiculous what i think of it. i think in its entirety, LIT2 will surpass something like 99.5% of all other songs in the coldplay catalog in my book.

after almost 5 hours (not constant rubbing, though :lol:), i STILL haven't gotten glass of water. the thing definitely has some kinks.

haha, well i don't know about coldplay playing any sort of victory concert, but it's nice to hope, isn't it? if it ever became true, i'd probably have a heart attack. i'm already trying to finagle tickets to the inaugaration--if coldplay were somehow playing AS WELL, i'd get those tickets by hook or by crook.

glad i preordered it back in early october. limited numbers of things make me nervous.
