i was just watching spaced on DVD when i noticed a certain yellow poster in the background: i made the :freak: face when i saw the first band listed. and my mind exploded when i saw what other bands were on that flyer: muse? elbow? badly drawn boy? doves? :stunned: this episode of spaced is from 2001, before coldplay really were anybody! if only simon pegg knew he would become best friends with the lead singer of that first little-known band on the list and become godfather to his children!

i'm pretty anti-tattoo, but to each their own. all i can say is think VERY hard about what you want, and the location you want it in :D. i know lots of people that got things on their lower backs or something and then they gain weight or get pregnant and then you can't read what the tattoo says ever again because it gets all distorted.

i think the wildcard can be pretty much anything, but erm...i know you love it and all, but we don't HAVE all of glass of water to play :P. i guess by the date of the proposed show we would, but YAY FOR SHIVER :D

my wildcard was shiver too, the second i realized it wasn't on the list already. what a crime that is.

i wasn't as blown away by this "GET" issue like i was with the last one, but hell, gwyneth can pull off anything :D. but besides the riding boots last time that i fell in LOVE with and now own, i've never been a big fan of her choice in shoes :\

should there be a new huge poll like that to pick the songs WITH VLVOD included? :thinking: and i have no idea how to even go about suggesting other artists' songs to pick :freak:. i feel like i can predict what they're going to be generally (a radiohead, an oasis, a muse, etc etc), but i don't know how to go about fairly picking them.

has anyone been able to get their hands on the pictures of chris in that recent issue of Q, i think it was, the issue that only subscribers can get? he's screaming into an old fashioned microphone and being adorable, and i saw someone had one of the pics in their sig, but i was wondering if anyone's found them that could post them here :D

emily....i think you're briggs :bigcry: which made me crack up on the previous page when i thought that briggs's mom used to call him emily shannon.... ANYWAY. i didn't have any weird family names, really, but in high school i had a ton. the main one i got called all the time by EVERYONE, even some teachers i was close to, was "smell." that's a really long story behind that one. i was also called "abdullah," "cookie," "carmen," and probably a few others that i have to think of. in my family, everyone calls my brother "boy." it just is that way. rarely have i ever said his real name.

haha, not all that much. basically i went to classes and took a long nap. i went out for pizza for dinner, because the school pizza is pretty crappy :rolleyes:. i wore all my birthday presents, though (the ones that weren't edible, at least :lol:). i did officially declare my major in uni, though, and i fell in love with jaffa cakes. what a day :lol: thanks, everyone! :D :dance:

EDIT: realistically, i want more jaffa cakes. my demands are small a few hours after my birthday :P unrealistically, i want to be in england. i also wouldn't pass up a new ipod touch :D

my brother and i are building his new "classy casual" wardrobe online now :lol: he's in the market for v-neck sweaters and corduroy blazers and classy scarfs. for some reason this cracks me up. he wanted to be skater punk two years ago. it seems as though he just realized he goes to an east-coast prep school :P. it's really cool that he now cares about clothes. i sent him the two pictures from gwyneth's GOOP that i tried to emulate, and we actually had a discussion about it :stunned: :lol: oh, and I STRETCHED OUT MY NEW BOOTS ENOUGH TO WEAR THEM OVER JEANS :dance: this thrills me to no end. question: could i wear dark wash jeans, a white shirt, my black knee-high boots, and a tan/light brown blazer? or does the brown ruin everything?
