i just preordered the special edition on amazon tooo :nice: i think that the lost EP will have the jay-z song on it, and that it'll be released online in all the big music download stores like itunes, but not for free. AHH so excited. AHHH.

aww, anna :sad: i know exactly how all of that is. as you know, our schools were pretty similar. at least it sounds like you generally like soccer, whereas i hated the volleyball i was forced to do. but there's nothing like that new-england-prep-school stress...just remember that it pays of in places that you least expect it to later in life. it'll make the academics of college a lot better, too. what helped me a lot (and still does) was/is doing things that i REALLY enjoyed in the little amount of downtime i had. i usually put on hilarious movies or stupid coldplay videos that cracked me up, because nothing's better than laughing when you're stressed. just listen to lots of radiohead too, ok? and i'm glad you found something relaxing in running. you've always got to have an outlet. anyway, i hope things get at least a little better soon. it does pay off: my school experience taught me more than i ever knew it did at the time. :D :nice:

it might have been said earlier in the thread, but does anyone know what hotel they're staying at? do you think they're staying in the westin hotel in the millenium tower on weena? for some reason, i imagine they're staying there. if that was the case, if i still was living there i could have stalked them so easily! :bigcry: :P my second guess would be the hilton right above the VVV at the pompenburg fountain where coolsingel begins, though i guess that guess from me is coming a bit too late for that to be helpful to anyone :P

i think that i would quite literally die if chris martin gave me his shirt :dead: after a few days, i have to say i would wash it, but i would wear it like all the time. it would be like a little kid with a blankie :lol:

coldplay play rotterdam, netherlands tonight, and i want to be there more than anything :sad:. i lived in rotterdam this summer, and the ahoy would have been such a simple journey from my house; it would have taken like 10 minutes. i miss rotterdam like hell, and seeing coldplay there would have been perfect.

i have to say that i agree with justin and indya. i hate the "LOOK AT HOW MANY POSTS I HAVE" threads, but i like the birthday ones, because they're almost always started by other people, where the post ones are almost always selfish. i like other people celebrating other people. i usually don't like people loudly celebrating themselves :P

i know i've said this about 15 times now, but the guys across the hall listen to VLVOD a lot over a very good, very loud soundsystem. i was in a hurry to get dinner tonight, but as i was coming out of my room, "strawberry swing" was playing very loudly, so like an idiot, i stood there in the hall listening looking like this: :nice: a girl came out of another room and thought i was insane, so that reminded me that i was in a hurry, but i just love finding coldplay in random places :heart:

i would have thought that was sincere, but that's just me. i thought he actually complimented coldplay/chris earlier too, but maybe that was just another case of me missing the sarcasm... in all seriousness, though, sarcasm is hard to pick up on paper.

do you think they'll tell us the tracklist beforehand, or we'll just see on the day? it's just an EP, so i bet we'll have to wait and see, but i think i might go crazy not knowing. i might have to wake up early on the day :P :uhoh:

(live)" so i would think that would mean we get minimum ONE new song (unless they decide to cheap us out with a live version of some song we've already heard...:shifty:)
