Yeah, that's the thing :uhoh:. They say that the whiter your skin, the better it looks, but it sounds like a total crapshoot to me. But some of the ones that stick just look so cool...sigh. Maybe I'd see if they could do a SUPER light color, like mostly white with a hint of some other tint. If you anesthetize me first, I'd do it :idea2:

If I ever get over my fear of needles, I think I miiiiight get the symbol for "A Hopeful Transmission" (or the Major Minus Media logo) I just like the idea of tattoos being symbols, and prior to this album the only real symbol Coldplay had was a butterfly, and everyone does that. It's kind of between these two different versions: I really like the idea of white ink, though, even though it's risky in that sometimes it doesn't take. I just like the subtlety, and that it's not immediately obvious, as I'd want it on my wrist as well. (I also want a Strokes one in white on my other wrist, but that idea is more sorted in my mind)

It's all well and good when Chris kisses Jonny, but when Jonny initiates it...:dead: I love how I said only a few hours before that "they seemed to have cut down on kissing each other in recent years" :dozey:

I think a lot of people are saying that about MTM because they think sonically, it would fit well into the album and tracklisting. Personally, I think sonically it would fit, but it wouldn't fit the "narrative" as I interpret it, so I think I see why they left it off, and I'm glad they did because, like you say, we got to hear it in another place in full studio quality. My one good thing and one bad thing: GOOD: The cohesive flow of the whole album, I find it very smooth and sonically pleasing BAD: I think "Up In Flames" maybe should have been a B-side. I like it OK as it is, I think more than most people, and it's not even my favorite track, but I just find myself completely forgetting about it when I listen to the record, and just kind of assume "A Hopeful Transmission" is right after "Princess Of China." I also wish Chris didn't sing so high on it.

Yeah, one of the only bands that I've been there for from the very start (that haven't only been around for a few years, anyway). I was 11 and didn't give a single crap about music, and then in October 2001, right after the album came out, my mom bought the CD and played it in the car all the time, and there was something about that music that I loved, and I'd never been interested in music before whatsoever. They really started me down the path of musical obsession, even if it was slow going at the beginning, and they'll always mean so much to me even if they start making terrible music or something, just because of the whole new world they turned me onto :P

Well, it's now November, so this is now obsolete. I'm sorry for not being able to put a few things on at the end of the month :sad:. My life kind of spun out of control, both because I went to go see Coldplay in England and because of craziness in my own life. Forgive me? :P
