  1. i bought these sandals today because i don't have any "nice" sort of sandals for summer (and i don't do heels :P). and i'm now officially forbidding myself from buying ANYTHING until i find a job :bigcry:
  2. oooh dunkin donuts :wideeyed: though i can't be allowed to drink coffee (or anything, really)...i REFUSE to have to pee all night :P i do wonder what the bathroom situation will be like on the line... even if they're porta-potties, i'll probably use them like 4 times just to be absolutely sure that i won't have to go once we're inside in our places!
  3. hmm, well i've seen them five times so far...the closest they've been to my home in connecticut is an hour by car, though i've travelled between 3 and 5 hours by car, train, and bus to see them :P ^same with me. i'm travelling over 3,000 miles to see them in september at wembley, but i'm not just going to see them at wembley...by then i'll have relocated to the UK. i wouldn't have bought tickets if i didn't already have plans to move over there, but let it be said that at the time the tickets went on sale, i was only about 50% sure that my plans to move over there for uni would become a reality :P. i told myself that even if i wasn't moving over there, though, i'd save up over the summer to fly over there for a weekend just to use the tickets :D however, by the time wembley rolls around, i'll have moved from london to norwich, which is about 2 hours from london and is causing major technical problems... if i had enough money, though, i'd travel anywhere to see them. the three gigs i really wish i could have been at this tour were the ones in rotterdam, abu dhabi, and warchild in london
  4. i'm fine with chris's vacation beard as long as he shaves it off before may :P. and as long as he keeps all the hair that's currently on top of his head in tact  the comment on the album is "is gwyneth preggo?" or something like that...not that i think she is or anything (i think it's just a flowy top), but i see where the commenter is coming from a bit...
  5. how the hell is it legal to take pictures of a private party from trees?
  6. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GUY! :D :daisy: :juggle:  i think it's kinda cool his birthday falls on easter this year :wacky:
  7. those shoes are so pretty! i would just say beware of shopping in places like juicy couture...PAINFULLY, RIDICULOUSLY expensive. where are you going in the US? :D forever 21 and charlotte russe are good if you have the patience to dig through a million disorganized clothing items. i find those stores overwhelming because there are just SO many different items in every corner of the store in a million different styles, and you have to be good about hunting for the good deals. i'm just more used to stores like gap that introduce a few new pants, a few new shirts, and a few new jackets each season and have a sale rack at the back :P. when a million different styles of pants and shirts and jackets from four different seasons are jumbled up together in one store, makes my brain explode :freak: and that forever 21 dress is great! i have one very similar to that, actually. i'd just warn that only a fraction of what's on their website actually turns up in stores...i was in a forever 21 yesterday and didn't see hide nor hair of any little black dresses like that :\
  8. haha, christa, believe me, i'm getting there the second you guys do :P. there will be no need to sneak me to the front of the line to meet you...i'll be there with you the whole time :D. as long as you guys don't slap me for being too in need of a plan, i think this whole meet-up is going to be orchestrated and finely-tuned :P
  9. i heard LIJ in gap today :nice:. i took it as a sign to buy the purse i was holding
  10. aww, that's an adorable story! i would have FREAKED too if i were her (i had a rat story of my own earlier this year...), but i hate the thought of them being killed too. i'm glad gwyneth went the extra mile just to have them removed and not harmed :nice:.
  11. wear skinny jeans! i love the look of dresses with jeans under them :nice: how short is it, though? because if it's too long that might not work. if it's mini mini, i say go for skinny jeans. if not i guess just tights, but i hate tights in pretty much every form :P by the way, i LOVE that jacket from H&M that you posted...i wish there was an H&M around here! ok, so today, i went to the (tiny) mall we have here. i went because i needed a break, but i'm almost completely broke, so i wasn't going to buy anything. so, because i'm such an american consumer and bad person, of course i ended up with a purse, a dress, and a tunic shirt :bigcry:. canvas purse from gap, marked down to $7 from $32! i couldn't resist :bigcry:. i'm such a bag freak. i know it's going to get dirty quickly, but it's completely white, so that's what clorox bleach pens are for! dress from forever 21! usually i have such issues trying to find stuff there because it's so disorganized and overwhelming, but while i was waiting for my friends i dug this up and tried it on. it looks better on, i promise :P tunic shirt from aeropostale, down to $10. i don't have anything in this color, so i decided to go for it :D. i need to get away from khakis and greys :P now i'm REALLY in the poorhouse.
  12. i had a dream about the concert last night . or at least, getting there and waiting in line. it was very strange, very unrealistic since none of you were there!
  13. 430 pounds. i don't care how much it originally was, i can't afford a $860 coat :dozey: (well, the exchange rate has changed, so it would be cheaper in USD, but still. not in my budget )
  14. thanks for the link, mich! i'm drooling over some of her things :bigcry: i wish i had moneyyyy :bigcry:. specifically for the coat...as much as i love the dress, i have nowhere to wear it :P
  15. if i remember correctly, i think carla says she knows how to do vectors too :D
  16. FASHION GOOP :wideeyed: gwyneth is so adorable :nice:. i love the ethnic dresses and of course the trench coat :D. if i've been eyeing ethnic dresses for years now...if i had money right now, i'd get one, i think :P EDIT: any one else find that the link to the ebay sale is dead? i can't get to it, nor can i find it when i search ebay. can anyone direct-link me with the store's URL?
  17. i got the twitter text when i woke up this morning and i KNEW it was our makayla even though i couldn't get to a computer all day! CONGRATS! :D
  18. i got the twitter text when i woke up this morning and i KNEW it was our makayla even though i couldn't get to a computer all day! CONGRATS! :D
  19. :cheesy: can you by any chance post the original photo? i'm in love with this photo.
  20. i want the coldplay itouch :wideeyed:
  21. so. jealous. :bomb: i think you need to tell me everything. i don't think a lot of people realize who you're standing with in this picture...
  22. in that photo, guy looks so young, like he did back in the parachutes days :wacky:
  23. hahaha, that's it  i wonder how old she was at the time.
  24. exactly. if he was so concerned for his life that he was wearing a bulletproof vest, he would NOT be parading around in public with his babies in broad daylight. no one in their right mind would want him dead, but there are a lot of sickos and derranged people out there. it's happened before, and if i were similarly famous, the idea that i could be shot would probably be in the back of my mind sometimes. however, most celebrities don't let that stop them from doing what they want and going out, and the simple fact that chris goes out and goes out with his children shows that he is not overly concerned for his life.
  25. :stunned: that is the most epic story i've ever heard :bigcry: congrats, guys! that is simply AMAZING...i can't get over it. when i was there, i kept thinking that they might come out, but i very well knew they were in connecticut (my home state ) at the time :P. i hope phil wasn't too upset about us knowing where the bakery is! :uhoh: actually i'm a but surprised that he was so surprised we knew...you can find anything with the aid of the internet these days. i think thus far, we've all respected the boundaries really well, but if it gets to be stalkerish ever, i don't think i'll ever forgive myself for helping find the exact location :P
