  1. mmhmm Believe me, I get all sorts of shit when I wear my Coldplay shirt. I still wear it with pride, though!
  2. I think there is a bit of a stigma with Coldplay...hard to explain, but people hate Coldplay because they're Coldplay, regardless of the music.
  3. And on TKO, Wendy! And apple.m: I'd honestly recommend Hot Fuss purely from a musical standpoint. Song for song, it's better, but the songs have no flow, it's really just a random assortment. See how you like Hot Fuss, then go out and buy Sam's Town.
  4. Haha, good to know I'm not the only hat dork round here. If only I could keep track of mine...augh. Anyway, you make that hat look very nice! And Josh...you remind me of my now ex-roommate. Great pics!
  5. Nah, it's a horrible way to spend a half life. (God, I think I was possesed by Mark there for a sec...) Favorite guilty pleasure song?

  8. Big Fish 9/10 A great vehicle for Tim Burton to really show off what he can do, it's such a unique movie. Highy recommend to anyone.
  9. This the man that inspired this...
  10. I tend to agree with the article. But in the end, whether or not you get press coverage is secondary to SALES. I downloaded the album last night, and it's alright. The title track is still my favorite, but I think this has the potential to grow on me. I think they can achieve success where Coldplay already has, if only on a smaller scale.
  11. I've been getting into "Dont Go Away" lately. Fantastic song.
  12. ...wow. Blue. Yours?
  13. haha, very subtle, alex!

  15. sure? How easily do you cry?
  16. Well, I remember hearing "Yellow" and liking, and then seeing the American version of the "Trouble" video, and liking that, too. But I didn't get into them at that point. It was my sophomore year of high school, at band camp. Being the forgetful guy I am, I left my CDs at home. I had exactly one album in my CD player, and I got tired of it quickly. So I went through my friend Matt's CD collection, and stumbled upon his copy of A Rush of Blood to the Head. I remember hearing good things about it, and I decided to give it a try. I was hooked.
  17. Excellent, though I'm really not sure that those are the five best Rock Performances By A Duo Or Group With Vocal of 2006; especially since only four of them are actually by rock artists *cough* The Fray *cough*
  18. Nah, this is not that realistic... Radiohead is further ahead in the process, and their new album isn't due out till, what, fall?
