  1. Anyone catch this?? i think it shows guts for the former president to be interviewed on Fox news. Anyone care to add anything?
  2. reading your posts Maldini and El Masry is REALLY fun, because after someone has proven you wrong, you will jump out and say "go face facts!!" when they already have, and have already disproved your "facts". then after that you will offer up some other talking point, which is quickly disproved as well, then you will say "dont get off topic!" when it is YOU who asked about the other topic. this is great, i find myself more intent to listen than to jump in and help disprove you guy's points! i can disprove ALL of your arguements in one paragraph here. You are an Egyptian muslim. a SWORN enemy of Israel. Of course your government, and school system, and just about everyone there, is teaching you to HATE jews. I dont support either side, because i think fighting is rediculous. But you basically have been brought up to hate jews, PERIOD. and the facts that you have been fed to support it are obviosly WRONG or flawed as we have shown. people in other parts of the world have a more open minded outlook on jews and muslims. You should try it some time
  3. i agree, he could have proven his dissapointment in Bush in a MUCH better way. Now the whole world just hates Venezuela! haha you dont come into the United Nations and just start ranting on about how bad he is. Propose some solutions, and wtf is with the insults??? is there no professionalism? he acted like they were in highschool fighting over a girl!! stupidity:veryangry:
  4. id be pissed as shit if i did that, i would never say that pledge of alleigance. I would have stood up and walked out of school if they made me do that. rediculous:angry:
  5. i really like him, i didnt at first with all of his poppy bubble gum stuff, but it was obviously jsut to get his name in the media before he could drop the stuff he really likes (blues and soul) his newest album and the one before that are REALLY excellent pieces of music. He and i are basically the same kind of musician, blues roots in guitar, play the same style guitar, but likes the softer stuff as well. i hear hes a dick tho! hahaha that sucks. But it still doesnt change the fact that he is an excellent musician. for some of his newer work, get "waiting on the world to change" great song about the Iraqi situation
  6. excellent musician i actually JUSt saw him live a few days ago!
  7. i personally prefer Stephen Colbert's conservative views, reminds me so very much of someone i have heard of....O' something? lol:laugh3:
  8. I do admit Clinton could have been tougher on terrorism, but for every reason you have listed about clinton, Bush has countered it with something hes done wrong 10 fold. There is no possible way, any shape or form, Clinton was worse than Bush. Theres no way, and the country agrees with me
  9. No you were claiming Bush was worse than Clinton, you simply cant admit that Clinton has done better than many republican administrations.
  10. i really liek it, really tough angle, good work
  11. at least you admit her sanity is questionable. She basically hates every non white, non christian, non republican in the world, and writes books about it
  12. i could name just as many accurate accusations(and innacurate ones as well) about ANY asministration. Lets start with the one at hand shall we?? With Bush we got a sky high surplus reduced to a rock bottom deficite, Let Osama slip away when he had him, passed retarted laws bent on spying on the nation in the name of terrorism, plays with the terror alert for personal gain, invaded a country with no truthful reason, lied to the nation about the reasons for going to war, letting young men get killed because hes too much of a whimp to admit it, ALSO IGNORED AL QUEDA, let the Katrina victims squabble helplessly for days without relief, Lets laws pass that basically ALLOW the torturing of captives, ignores the Geneva convention, does not send our troops into a warzone with proper equipment or allies, allowed members of the Bin Laden family to LEAVE THE COUNTRY after 9/11, Cut FBI funds for counter terrorism by two thirds after 9/11, talk about letting stupid laws pass-he lifted the automatic weapons ban (what are you gonna do with an AK-47 go driveby a quail???)let Afghanistan slip back into a warzone and now a major producer of opium, left an unstable afghanistan and a war on terrorism to invade Iraq, Giving tax cuts to the top 1% of the nation (everyone got them but over 70% of the relief fell upon the rich), under-funded the "miracle" "no child left behind", Under-funding the Title I program, specifically targeted for disadvantaged kids, by $7.2 billion, deliberately ignores separation of church and state and moves to outlaw gay marriage simply because his belief says it is wrong .............and the whopper, By invading Iraq he destroyed the only thing stopping Iran from becoming a global problem, now that a Shiite leader is in charge of Iraq, he allows the "police force" to act as death squads against Sunni militias, he is now having talks with Iran negotiating an alliance! Shall i continue?? and you claim CLINTON was WORSE than bush because he had an affair "caused a recession" (which we all know is not true if you look at the facts) and because he cut some military funding???(Bush has done that as well on countless occaisions. i can HARDLY see the resemblance between the two, much less how Clinton was worse
  13. its so pointless to argue this. The Bush administration deliberately CHANGED the date for the start of the recession. RIGHT AFTER gaining office he proceeded with his tax cuts depleting our funds, he tried to cover it up by making it look like it was Clinton's recession. Sorry but you sir watch too much Fox news
  14. did you not see what i quoted earlier???? Bush's economic committee CHANGED what the NBER had accepted as the date for the start of the recession from march 2001 to third quarter 2000 in order to blame it on clinton "The phrase gained additional mention on February 9, 2004, when President George W. Bush's Council of Economic Advisers produced an economic report which changed the start of the recession from the widely accepted date of March 2001, to the fourth quarter of 2000. This was seen by some as an attempt to blame Clinton, who was still in office during that period." "No one should be surprised when economic or budget forecasts coming out of Washington are influenced by politics, especially during an election year. But when economic history is rewritten -- with political consequences -- that's going too far. President George W. Bush's Council of Economic Advisers, chaired by Harvard economist N. Gregory Mankiw, is trying to get away with exactly such revisionist history. The CEA's Economic Report of the President, released Feb. 9, unilaterally changed the start date of the last recession to benefit Bush's reelection bid. Instead of using the accepted start date of March, 2001, the CEA announced that the recession really started in the fourth quarter of 2000 -- a shift that would make it much more credible for the Bush Administration to term it the "Clinton Recession." In a subsequent press conference, Mankiw said that the CEA had looked at the available data and "made the call." "This simple statement masks an attack on one of the few remaining bastions of economic neutrality. For almost 75 years, the start and end dates of recessions have been set by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), a private nonpartisan research group based in Cambridge, Mass. While there have been complaints over the years, this arrangement has been accepted by economists, government agencies, and politicians -- until now. "For the first time, the federal government is intervening in the process," says Robert Hall, an economist at Stanford University and the conservative Hoover Institution who since 1978 has chaired the NBER panel of seven prominent economists who make the actual decision. The NBER's decisions have been dragged into the political arena before, but without impact. In the early 1980s, the Reagan Administration tried, unsuccessfully, to convince the NBER to combine the 1980 and 1981-82 recessions into a single downturn that could be called the "Carter Recession." During the '92 election season, the first Bush Administration kept hoping that the NBER would announce that the recession of 1990-91 was over -- a statement that didn't come until December, 1992." so ACTUALLY YOU are wrong
  15. haha you quote Ann Coulter as fact!:laugh3: That woman is so out to lunch its rediculous. I bet she is the biggest bitch in the world to get along with
  16. a few months of bad decisions is more than enough to change things like that. Plus there is almost ALWAYS a small recession after a president changes out of office, but with Bush's HUGE tax cuts immediately after gaining office, there was no money coming in, and only money going out. That fueled your recession. You claim my statements to be "small" and "made up" . Find me some facts that support your statements, i have mine. It is a known fact that the Bush administration was the first in 75 years to overrule the National Bureau of Economic Research. the Bush administration literally made all of that up.
  17. you could go on all day finding "reasons" why he was a bad president, hell, when you are president for 8 years its pretty easy to find SOMETHING you dont agree with. I could go forever about reagan and Bush senior, i just liked Clintons policies alot better. His ways of running the country were controversial as is today with our president, and the president before clinton, and NEVER will EVERYONE agree with a president. the only thing i disagree with you STRONGLY about is the recession stuff. Do we not remember that Bush's council of economic advisors changed the start date of the that recession to benifit Bush's reelection bid. Instead of using the accepted date of March 2001, the CEA said it "really" started in the 4th quarter of 2000. For 75 years the National Bureau of Economic research has made that call, but Bush's council chairman looked at the information and "made the call". So basically your arguement is flawed, you think Clinton started it, when really that was a lie from the beginning. A president has the right to change policies to the way he wants them, and he obviously did, and now that it didnt work out, he is trying to blame HIS economic failure on Clinton.
  18. you know what, i dont even like dems that much, but i KNOW they are better than fucking republicans, republicans are out to help their rich buddies and themselves and that IS IT. And do you know why there was a "RECESSION" after Clinton? its becaus ewe made so much money that with Bush the only place we could go was down!! so if its Clintons fault that he did a good job so what. You talk about lying to the nation, he lied about a PERSONAL matter, and then he fessed up to it. Bush on the other hand lies to the nation repeatedly and then is too much of a pussy to admit it so now good men are being killed over it. He wont admit it so men have to die, how many died because of Clintons mistake??? All presidents let some stupid laws pass. You also talk about secrets going to places like China, well look here, Reagan (im SURE you are in love with him) traded missiles for prisoners! And what are we doing about terrorism now??? we are spying on our own people and doing random security checks at the airports while Bin Laden runs around free because our military is stuck in Iraq creating MORE terrorists! If we had just kept after Bin Laden in Afghanistan we probably would have won by now!! all we are doing is escelating the problem 100 fold AND leaving the brains of 9/11 COMPLETELY out of it???!!!! Am i missing something or has this entire country gone insane??? Nobody seems to notice things that really matter! People go on and on about gay marriage and what not like its a big deal (who gives a shit!? it doesnt affect you, just the gay people) while real problems like katrina(at the time) and Iraq are right there for the solving! Republicans need something to keep the blame off of them so they blame Clinton for THEIR bad job!! its insane, i cant talk about it anymore:veryangry:
  19. Yea we all saw what a HORRIBLE job Clinton did with the country....gah employment and needed social programs really suck ass. and dont give me that "he caused a recession" bullshit, BUSH fucking pissed away all of the surplus money and more. I dont know about Hilary though, i doubt she will win. Condi is a smart woman as well, just with some ideas that, at this point in time, are being found wanting. I believe the only Republican candidate that i would back is Guliani. I really like Wesley Clark for the Dems though. Nick, Sure we have a plan, but IT SUCKS ASS. it doesnt work. Our plan is to "stay the course in order to spread democracy to the world" yea well our democracy that we set up over there elected a Shiite president who is going to hook up with Iranm and is using the "police force" to eliminate rival sunnis. Bush is only saying we need to stay the course because he wants to wait out his final years and then its someone elses problem. It is JUST like Vietnam, we are gonna sit there for a while and pull out.(that is the only thing we CAN do) As for John Kerry, what a freakin pickle. It shows that our democratic leaders are a bunch of spineless losers. I pick Wesely Clark and John Edwards. They would make a good team.
  20. they werent our enemy at the time, and you saying that clinton was a worse president than Bush jr just makes me laugh. So all the shit he has let go and fucked up and all the shit that is GOING to happen (IE Iraq slipping into civil war and allying with Iran) is NOT worse than the job clinton did? wow ok you are now part of the shrinking population of people in the united states who agree with what is going on there. Bush didnt go after terrorism like you think. Sure he passes some bogus laws and sends a few troops to afghanistan, while he invades a country that had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT, CREATING more 10 times for insurgents (now called terrorists) than he could have ever destroyed. He has hurt us more than clinton ever could. We actually had a respected nation and were making progress when clinton was in, but now nobody has even a little respect for us. Other countries want nothing to do with Bush but they were willing to talk to Clinton. Not needed social programs, you sound like a communist. ahhhhh we dont need healthcare or social security! Didnt do well on the economy? so you call record breaking high surpluses in cash and material "not so good"??? all bush has managed to do was lose our surplus and push us into one of the largest DEFICITS ever. so he went from the Highest to the LOWEST. and thats Clintons fault how?? With all of the stuff that happens HERE in our own country its enough to call bush a bad pres, but the catastrophe in Iraq is MORE than enough to call him one of if not THE worst president ever. Never has any large scale american military operation been so poorly planned out and executed since Vietnam. You would have thought that they would have read the chapter in "Taking over country for dummies" AFTER the part about kicking out the leaders. Like possibly post war reactions?
  21. bush also had his chance to get bin laden when he was trapped at Tora Bora, but never took it. Clinton never went after him, Bush had him cornered
  22. haha you are talking about technology going to china, in the last 5 years more jobs, workers, and technology has gone to china than that of probably 4 other presidents combined. There is no more of a threat today than there was yesterday or before that, the terror alert is the only thing Bush has at this point, he raises it whenever something bad happens for him or whenever he feels the dems are gaining footing. Fear is the only thing he has going for him. There was one big attack on america since pearl harbor, Bin laden could never in his wildest dreams believed he was going to DESTROY the towers. He would have killed a few hundred had they not been destroyed (not saying that is insignificant but alot less than 3,000) And like i said, if the people are happy and still are happy with the job he did, then thats all that matters, people agree, he was a good president. Has bush jr done ANYTHING at all for the benifit of the country?? we have gained nothing, we have lost FAR more than we could ever gain. he cut funding to the CIA, wow, alot better than cutting funding for social programs to fuel a war that has no end or point. He had one flaw, and that was that he couldnt nab Bin Laden, he tried, maybe not as hard as he should have, but he wasnt a real large threat at that time. Other than that, he was a good president and his popularity shows. People say "all he did was care about the polls" yea well thats because the people liked his decisions, plus this isnt a totalitarian government, he isnt supposed to have universal supremacy. In THEORY the president works for the people and does what is popular. So if doing what people wanted and skyrocketing the economy makes him so bad, then it looks like your standards are a little high
