i watched Live 2003 yesterday, coz i hadn't in a while, and it made me smile like i was in love. i remember once i made my mum watch a bit of it with me, and she looks at them for a while and goes, "hmm. i'd like to bring them all home and give them a good shave!" so then i had to defend their lovely facial hair.

i went to a restaurant-y cafe thing last night, and there was a waiter who, if you looked at him quickly, looked like Jonny boy :D so i smiled at this waiter for the simple reason that he looked like Jonny, and i'm pretty sure he thought i was retarded.

^ i know. it doesn't matter WHEN you became a fan, it matters WHY you are a fan. e.g. are you into them because you are a teenybopper who swallows everything the Top 40 Countdown feeds you, and Coldplay just happened to be on said countdown more recently; or are you into them because you love Coldplay with all your heart and soul. the first album I bought was AROBTTH. i was 9 when Parachutes came out, and so was into Aqua, the Vengaboys and other equally shithouse "music"; i bought Rush of Blood in either 2003 or 2004 i think (can't really remember) and fell in love with it. so sure, i haven't been a Coldplay fan for the longest time, or since the very minute they started releasing stuff. but i love Coldplay more than any other band, they save me and mean the absolute world to me.

i also finished the fifth and sixth books in a day! :D coz quite honestly i'm a huge Harry Potter loser. i LOVE it. hmm...with all this darkness surrounding the new book, i reckon we need to focus on some light: in this book, Ron and Hermione are MOST DEFINITELY going to GET IT ON.

yep definitely AROBTTH. there's something about that album that separates it. every song is so completely different and beautiful and magical. that said i also adore Parachutes, and X&Y. i don't think they have a song i DON'T like. but yes. Rush of Blood > Parachutes > X&Y
