  1. :laugh3::laugh3::laugh3: Real LUNARticks! Thanks - that made my day!! (and I remember seeing the lunar footage shown on YouTube, and it's about at that level..) Yes, I do have an account; which is not so exclusive as it maybe should be! ::>> I haven't any videos of my own; just a collection of favorites..
  2. Freedom is the only correct choice! Viri, enjoy reading what you like.;) I just wonder why there are so many negative comments; maybe it's that people take jabs just to entice others to fire back or something.. Flaming seems the rage for some!:laugh3: I think I'll set the comment filter on only -1 to +100, and then the really bad ones will go away..;)
  3. Good night, and may the rest be restful!;)
  4. I was just thinking about the circulation patterns in Cumulonimbus clouds.. & the unkind comments we see on YouTube! What's with that?? Is it just like some anonymous place for bullies to act out on their aggressions? I'm amazed at the amount of verbal fights and vulgarities! Anyhow, how was your day??
  5. Californians got it good, don't they:rolleyes:;) I was thinking about how time passes, and we can only meander back and forth across the river; our journey's secure, and our path can only go one way. And then we send a scout or two back to the start.;)
  6. I understand how you feel, Nick - it was from no fault of your own, and in a like manner I almost ran into the side of a suburban driven by an elderly man, who never looked - he just started to wander out onto the highway.. Luckily, I darted the other way, just in time.. But the main thing's nobody's hurt - that's a miracle in and of itself! I'm glad she was so kind, and didn't even notice the accident - somehow, that's not surprising either! Perhaps the ticket isn't a bad thing, if it makes her aware that she needs to take a reaction test or something to assess if she's still good enough to drive.. Nobody's fault really, since anyone can make a mistake driving, though we try and minimize the errors. I once calculated that for every American driver, there's between 2 and 3 reportable accidents in a driving career; while defensive driving helps, and paying attention is critical, there's often just too many possible collisions out there to not wind up in one eventually. Don't feel bad - we all go through things like that! ;)
  7. Night of the Living Thread...:vampire::P
  8. Are you a bunny, then??:wink3: A Wascally Wabbit?:P @ LiquidSky - thanks! I've always wondered who you were!! :stunned:;) Viri - that's pretty rare around here; Albanian, or some other root?
  9. That's right - not only am I telepathic, but I have a plot as well!:laugh3: What do you like then, Ms. Kels?!:P
  10. OOPS, liquidsky, just cover your eyes on the last post :laugh3: Think of nice, crunchy.. ah carrots then!;)
  11. :rolleyes:Alright, pardon moi! chocolate pie then, sans the crust!:P Would you like some nuts on top?:wacky::smart:
  12. What, Kels?? Do you need some double-chocolate pie, with a graham cracker crust??:P
  13. I'm betting on the "better regulation" part. With a little less corruption, anything better helps. The oil sands might be Canada's "black gold" but what a mess it makes! We've really got to get the efficiency measures in place - it's long past when we realized this, and even some (nay, one) oil company admits this now! It's the start of real change, if we can beat back the influence pedaling in Washington and Ottawa... as much as I hate to admit it, as more people get hit hard economically from the corrupt BS that's gone on, there's bound to be sustained support for real reform and reformers. Not the ideal way to get change, but if that moves things in the right direction, so it must be...
  14. I'm working on their next forgotten classic.. It's got a nice switchback about 1/3 through, and a few cool change-ups,. now if only they'd listen!:P
  15. Is it just me, or do see a pattern: music groups start out emulating others, and their first true works are often more like howling than like refined music. The Beatles began with their lo-fi, and so did Coldplay in a similar fashion.. I suppose maybe just conjecture, but it's a hunch.
  16. I can help with that boredom!!:laugh3:

Greetings. and got a first name??
  18. Well, the police might have some Rick, but I unfortunately haven't any! (but we were never stopped for that! Actually, only ran one photo speed trap..):laugh3:
  19. I've figured out the solution to that: Change the routing for the muffler, and get the pipe to go under the rear suspension; then, angle it back with the muffler, and weld it solid. It looks like it could fall off at any moment, and yet is as safe as can be!! (Works like a charm;)).. They may get close at first, but when they see the "decoy" muffler, they back wayy off!
  20. Classical has influenced a lot of Rock music; Roll Over Beethoven!:P (bring Tchaikovsky back..)
  21. Franz who??:P
  22. The Beatles / 1967-1970 - I actually bought the album from a local store! Their productive years, and I wonder if they ever had a non-hit song in those years?? George always looked so serious - the depths of his soul was great.. Nice Avatar Loretin!!
  23. The Thread Where You Can Post Anything? Alright then, where's Toto?:P
