Tusk by Fleetwood Mac.. hmm. all I could guess on that one might be some part of male anatomy, Tracie!:) X & Y could be in reference to the male 23rd chromosome (Y), and the Female 23rd chromosome (X). Or, two variables. Or, a graph's co-ordinates. Or maybe all that, and because of its universality, -that would make it appealing to a wide audience.. Amsterdam is a big into the blues, y/n?
  2. WORDS 5. Supercalafragilisticexpialidocious
  3. Still Jamming on Fleetwood Mac's Don't Stop!!:)
  4. Hello Tracie! Well, I've got a President who's not in his right mind either, but that's a whole nother' topic.:) Glad you've escaped with your life!! Maybe look in the Yellow Pages for drummers?:laugh3: Or, just opt for a drum machine - they're generally not out on bail, and always show up... ;) I play the doombeck, if that helps??
  5. What I don't get is: (1) Why, if she's the heiress to the Hilton fortune, ..why is she making porn, and (2) If she's filthy rich, then why not just have a limo service? Does wealth and power make people dopey?:dozey: Oh well, another book/video deal. Paris does jail..:laugh3:
  6. Hey, there's still life on this planet! Besides, it's Friday night - everyone could be out Partying (listening to music, dancing, etc..) Spring is mating season, ya know..:laugh3:
  7. :)Ok, Ok, Neil's great. But, there's a grain of truth in this funny post, anyhow! (Neil did look a little like a scare-crow in that photo, you gotta admit!;)) Bet it was The Onion.. (America's Finest News Source - corrected).
  8. David, I agree - some of the things aren't quite as good. But, I think the quality issues can and should be addressed - it's maybe part of what's holding back sales. I like the chocolate, tho.. It's not the same as the usual brands, but it's pretty good tasting (like coffee and tea, it varies quite a bit..). Still a great way to help people in the lands down south! What is the Italian Chcolate like??? Mmmm - probably some fine stuff - like Italian coffee, I suppose!:)
  9. And here it's midnight!! And in Seattle it's like 10PM! Daylength is nearing the max (by mid-June) - less than one month away, so the sun is up late as well, but we all knew that.. What time is it in Germany btw?
  10. SUNFLOWERS!!!:) (WELL, ACTUALLY i LIKE THEM ALL..) What's your favorite song?
  11. Ya, right "In Related News, Al Gore today called John Kerry a pompous ass":laugh3: Now, we know it must be from "America's most trusted news source - the Onion" .
  12. And what's the source here - the Onion?:) (If anything, Neil Young's singing sounds like cats screeching down a chalkboard.. Ever hear his stuff? I mean, it was great anti-war singing during the late 60's / early 70's, but it sounded more like some winy off-pitch wailing half the time.. Creative and Rebellious, yes, but hardly all that good! Martin's 100X better, that's a given. And, ya, Ol' Neil does sort of look like a scare-crow, come to think of it..:dozey::P Must be some sort of stunt to fool the fans, I'll betcha too! (and hey, I listen to Canadian Public Radio, and I'm not even Canadian:laugh3: Am I a "nobody"??)
  13. I got a bang out of Bono's understated grace. He's a very nice fellow, and always has a good word to say about band members, even when they're giving him a lot of grief for getting so involved in all the global matters.. Thanks for putting this up there!!
  14. Hey, can someone tell me why there are, like, thousands of guests? I mean, like, who are these people, and what are they doing? Just window shopping?? It's not like someone's asking for their left leg to join, so what gives with this??

  16. Hey, True Blue Americans eat whatever they like!! The Constitution Guarantees "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness!:) :):) So, be American (south, north, central, - any continent or island will do), and eat cake, or pie, or piekosts, or baked cod, or whatever makes you Happy! (what, btw, is "Mother's Harvest Pie"?:)) is this, like, whatever comes in from the garden??
  17. Hello to everyone! Just a note, in case you missed Bill Moyer's Journal on PBS, the Friday evening broadcast - Only one US Representative had the BALLS to stand up and support Fair Trade Policy on the floor of the House here in the US of A - and he made enough of a splash to get a mention on Bill Moyer's program! ..and he just happens to be our Representative here in NE Wisconsin (YEA!!). :) So, if you want Fair Trade, give Steve a call, and thank him for doing the right thing. His number is: (202) 225-5665. Even more effective, write him a letter of support at the following address: Representative Steve Kagen 1232 Longworth Washington, D.C. 20515 The more letters he gets, the more ammo he has in favor of greater equity in our trade policy; and the more we get honest people elected, the better the whole world will be (think - world bank, debt forgiveness, foreign aid, fair trade policies, etc...) & hey, let's not forget, Coldplay and Fair Trade go hand in hand!!;) Thanks!! -from Chuck.
  18. Hello Squier Pete! I can't tell you, but I think Tracie Morgan could - she's been doing the charity recordings for Oxfam, and I'm sure she would have the answer. She's on the boards here, so just connect up with her, and you'll be able to 'cut some wax'!:) BestOfLuck! -from chuck.
  19. Traditional Cornish Pasty with beef, pork, and rutabaga. Basically, it's a pastry that's filled with - well, filling, and then folded and crimped on the edges.. Is it a pie then?:dozey:? I wish it were all natural, tho.. Homemade's best.. Potato and Beef? Sound's like stew!:P
  20. Hello Jonvella from Malta!:) Are there any Maltese Falcons there?;)
  21. I did not get it !! Wild blueberries are seasonal, tis' true.. Tarts are really, really good too!! But do Pasti's count? I like them - Cornish miners used to feast on them for lunch..
  22. I need to tune up this piano, and get some of the keys working again...
  23. Wild blueberry pie is excellent, but chocolate pie is outtathisworld! Strawberry pie, home-made of course, is excellent as well.. Gee., I can't decide! Do Pasti's count as pies?:)
  24. Good ones!:laugh3: I used to sing in the shower as well, but everyone else said it was unbearably bad!:P OK - I worked at a plant making wire harnesses for American cars one winter.. I make pancakes in the AM, and like to add walnuts to the batter.
  25. But the real question is: who get's to be her cell-mate?:P:laugh3:
