ok i totally get what you mean, this has happened to me before. i guess you just have to be a bit more observant and be sure if he does like you. if he does then the feeling are mutual and perhaps you could even tell him! but hey, it's a good idea to open up if you're sure so that you don't miss out.... but yeah, that's just one way of looking at it :\

i was thinking about this article today. i think what we all need to realize is that the same way some of us don't like or are not really happy with one album or the other doesn't mean that others can't feel the same way. what this guy is saying is that he didn't like the last albums after AROBTTH. it's not like he categorically said that he hated the first two as well. the only dividing line between us and this guy is that he is no longer sure whether he can call himself a coldplay fan whereas we are quite sure of what EXACTLY we feel about coldplay. It's not as if he likes one sound either. We might as well say the same thing about ourselves if we say that "their last album really sucked but the others were, i mean, SPLENDID!!" - the other albums can then fall under the same "One Sound" category, can't they? Taking a cue from Destrokk, I'll say let's just like what we like!!! :P
