Hmm I can't decide now. The studio version is definitely growing on me. The the theme of the studio one fits with the song really well but then the live version shows the energy of the song and the full effects of the Xylotobands better than the studio one did. So I don't know... Can I vote for both?! :P

That's why it caught me by surprise to see it there. :P

Well, scratch that. It's been solved now. :lol: I'm not sure if this was mentioned before as I don't remember seeing it but anyone else notice MMXII appearing in the Paradise and Charlie Brown videos before EMI? Ok so two letters are swapped around and there's an extra 'I' (in CB video) but it certainly gives the M.M.I.X song a whole new meaning now. Or at least gives you something to think about. Maybe it got something to do with EMI? :sneaky: Can't be a coincidence right?

I feel the opposite. I can't press the next button on MX as I feel that I need to hear the album the whole way through to get the whole thing but not for VLV. Anyway, not to upset anyone but why start another thread on this? Isn't there already a billion threads on how disappointed one is about MX? Why not post there?

Muse and Keane. Hoping Keane would deliver with this one. Was quite disappointed with their last album. Also heard that Mumford & Sons might release their second one this year. If it's true, that is one album I cannot wait for.

To me, I found the songs in ITLAOTE sound too much alike. I liked In This Light And On This Evening (the song) a lot and I thought it would be a good album but the songs after that didn't grab me as In This Light And On This Evening did. Plus, I find that Tom Smith's voice doesn't really suit the style of music in ITLAOTE. :confused: He sounded great in the first song but I found the rest of the album quite jarring.

I just started listening to the Editors a few weeks ago. Managed to get my hands on their second and third album and though I enjoyed their second album a lot, I couldn't quite get into the third one. :\ Is this the new direction they are heading into? I hope not. I prefer their musical style of the second album. :P

No one will buy the album if every song was a single. ;)

I don't buy singles so I voted for the first option. It doesn't matter as long as we have a b-side. This era is seriously lacking in those. :\

I actually prefer a video with a plot like Paradise, The Scientist or the best vid by the band, GPASUYF. However, after seeing this, I would have preferred a 'live' video for CB than what we got. It's almost the same thing just not as good.

Not the best vid out there but it fits well with the song and the theme of the album so it's pretty darn good. However, there's too much shaking and jumping around and not enough of the Xylobands (you can't see their full effects properly unlike during their live shows). I think the live video would have been better. This should have been the 'live' video for MX (like Lost and Fix You) because I would have rather have the full effect of the Xylobands than watching 4mins of people jumping around and making me dizzy. What surprised me was that they kept the piano outro. Was weird. Didn't flow well with the video.

They should debut PoC during the Grammys and then release it as a single. CB can come later or not at all. I'm still against the idea of CB being released as a single as I know it'll get overplayed and it'll end up like VLV. But whatever.

Don't like it. One of the weakest songs on the album and I always have the urge to skip it. Should put Moving to Mars instead of this in my opinion.

No contest, Up With the Birds. Can't stand Up in Flames. U.F.O comes second. Or maybe UATW. Depends on my mood. :P

I was thinking they'll hit Aus and hopefully NZ in 2013. Very happy about this...mostly because it means that they'll pop by NZ during that time. :D
