Whaaaaaaaaaaaat? You have to be kidding, that is one the best songs on there! It rocks...wish I could hear it live, but a las have never. But, really Fran really sings that from his soul. And the guitars are awesome so is the distortion. I liked the Boy with no Name...but this next album sounds interesting...I guess they are trying out new things. Should be good! I hope!

Haha...he is still around? Yes, I was here for a little while he was here. He was interesting. I think he just needed some attention. He was the multiple personality, right? Had different user names? That was kind of funny, but I don't remember if I am confusing him with someone else.

Yah, I have no idea what happened to the old official board. People are still posting, but a lot less. When I went a while ago it looked semi-dead and people were spamming and arguing a lot. Again, I like a debate like you, but not arguing to just to put people down. Anyways, I think Debs said there was not going to be an official forum on the new coldplay site. That is odd. I was surprised. I would think that would be good for their publicity and fans. But, whatever...I always frequented this board more anyways. I guess people from there will move onto here or maybe have already. I haven't been on here in a while, so I don't know who is frequenting the boards.

I heard it on Tuesday Morning on the "We play everything" music radio station...which I think is 92.7. I think the morning DJ is a big fan, so she probably downloaded the song and played it. She said they would be playing it a few more times throughout the day. But, I never heard it again. I also haven't heard it on any of the other radio stations...it's new music Thursday on xrt, so they might play it.

I love this show! I voted for Castro yesterday, but I can see all of them getting albums. They are really talented this year. I liked Carly too, but she was booted last week. Paula's confusion yesterday was funny. A tad scary, but funny.

Yah, it is weird with Gwyneth. She does seem sweet on TV, but I just don't know what she's like in real life. The time I saw her on a movie set, she looked like she didn't want to be bothered, looking down and such. But, she is a movie star and all. Who knows... I don't think my pictures worked...they are not coming up on my screen...at least the attachment did.

I actually didn't find it quite depresssing. Yes, it is darker & more intense, but as I was discussing with my sister, I found the X part of the last album more depressing. X & Y was definately not one of my favorite albums and I really liked the Y part of it much more. Hey the X songs were great in concert, but on a whole musically I am also used to their more traditional songs. I did like Speed of Sound right away as well and it is one of my favorites from that album. But, Fix You...that just feels more depressing, musically speaking. Hey, it works if you are in one of those moods...but sometimes it can be a bit much. As I listen to Violet Hill more and more I am digging the rough electric guitar more and more. We'll see how the rest of the album is when time tells.

"Brian Eno has helped turn the band into the U2-style stadium " Why is it that they so want this? Why do they need to have music that plays in stadiums. I don't mind that it sounds good in concert, but why is it a priority. At least it sounds like they still have some of their old sound intact.
