  1. Maybe it means we're sensitive people who need lots of nurturing and comforting??? (as long as it doesn't mean we're...weird.) :P
  2. Umm, so no one has any suggestions of where to hang before show???:\
  3. OMG How come I didn't come check this thread until today?!! It's so funny to see you standing there, stalking Coldplay, child and all. That's good though, more incognito--no one would suspect a "mommy," when in reality your child is probably on her way to being a little Jonny stalker as well LOL. Or maybe she'll be a Moses groupie one day :laugh3:... Have fun tonight, and good luck on finding the guys...then come RIGHT back here and report!!! :)
  4. Thanks! :D OT: Um, it seems like a lot of us Coldplayers sucked their thumbs past the point of "appropirate age." Hmm, I wonder what kinda connection that has LOL??? I do consider Coldplay like my security-blanket, has it replaced thumb-sucking in adulthood??? hehehehehe:embarassed:
  5. are you ok? do we need to send a paramedic over to help you out??? LOL (or just Jonny for some CPR???):wink3: All those pics are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Thanks so much for posting! They're all in my never-ending rotation of Coldplay wallpapers now.
  6. I love that Apple still sucks her thumb!:D It's so cute! And I did the same thing for, um, X amount of yrs...(and then had to pay the price of wearing braces...)
  7. Hey...to any Philly natives, or frequent visitors to the city.... I'll be driving down from North Jersey and planning to leave mid-afternoon to avoid rush hour traffic, so I'll be arriving a few hrs before the show starts. Never been to Philly or to the Wachovia Center, so have no idea where we could hang out before show time. I was thinking we'd get something to eat/drink, but dunno what the area around the venue is, or if there's some cool part of the city to check out, restaurant/pub/bar-wise. Any ideas, tips????? THANKS!:)
  8. I'm already on my second trial with my second email :smug:. I'm listenting non-stop whenever I'm home. Can't.Leave.the.Computer. haha I SQUEE everytime I hear one of the boys in those little intro clips. And they're the same ones over and over, yet they still get me everytime :laugh3:
  9. OMG that was an amazing story!!! You were so dedicated for being there so long...I'm so happy for you, and yet at the same time jealous :Phehe. One day, man...ONE DAY that'll be me posting how I met them! LOL
  10. That was awesome! The band should find this guy to play at the shows!!! :)
  11. eeeeeeeeeeek! listening right now to an acoustic version of "In My Place." how sweet! I signed up for the online trial. The thing is that it only lasts for 3 days  (I wonder if I can just try again with another email address once that expires???:\) Well for the next 3 days now I can't leave my computer!!!
  12. OMG I'm so excited, and I'm across the country and not even going!!! LOL But I'm so excited that the official tour is starting...which means I can come on here and live vicariously through the lucky people who get to go to the shows and will come back here and post pics & summaries & maybe vids, too??? HINT HINT HINT :wink3:
  13. Thanks for that...I "borrowed" it from you and did the same thing:)
  14. oooh they EYES!!! pretty pretty eyes that follow me! :o

Least Fave: NONE AROBTTH: Fave: ALL except Green Eyes, A Whisper Least Fave: A Whisper X&Y: Fave: Square One Least Fave: What If (this was the hardest album to decide on, since I'm not crazy in love/hate with any of the songs) VLVODAAHF: Fave: Lost! Least Fave: The Escapist, Reign of Love
  18. this proves that it's not that people won't go out and buy/download CDs, it's that it's getting harder to find something worth spending your hard earned $$$ on! (especially when a lot of us were able to get a leaked copy for free, yet went out and paid for a copy as well!)
  19. Well, tell her, it's either Coldplay or...tattoos! Or some cult-like religion. Or....drugs. Or something much more terrible than adoring 4 cute Brit boys and their music :D. (or wait, is it 'cause you're French and they are 4 BRIT boys? LOL
  20. Took exact words right outta my mouth!!!! Wait, are we twins seperated at birth???:laugh3:
  21. Definitely cultivate a love of Coldplay in young minds LOL. I tried to do that with my friend's 13 yr old girl, but she's more into the Jonas Brothers right now. and her 9yr old brother is more into Green Day...he's way to hyper for even the most upbeat Coldplay song.
  22. I'll stick my 2 cents in, too...I think Gwyneth feels much more comfortable w/ the whole media thing 'cause 1) she's had yeeaaarss of experience with it, so by now knows what to/not to say & can deal w/ a photograph or two being taken; 2) she's an actress, and I'm sure the same skills you use to play a character must help you put on a persona to the media that's separate from who you really are, to then feel like you maintain your real private self, well, private; 3) when she puts her work--ie films--out there, it's always a character, not her, while when Chris puts his work out there--album, concert-- it's totally him exposing himself, so he probably feels like he gives "the world" enough of himself that he wants to keep something totally private, his relationship with his wife & kids most of all; and, 4) just a few years ago, he was a regular guy making music with his university buddies--that they made it big and became known worldwide was a consequence, but not necessarily the goal, I assume. It's like if any one of us all of a sudden became famous and met this superfamous person who we fell in love with--we'd still feel like "normal people," except everyone would want to know every detail about you. Taking out the garbage in your old sweats/pjs with no make up wouldn't be so easy anymore.:D So I can kinda sympathize with Chris in this respect, since I've always gotten the impression that he's just an average guy, not really into the limelight but just stuck right smack in the middle of it.

  24. WTF??? :shocked2:LOL at least now we know that ardent fans though we may be...we're still on the right side of sane! I'm with melanieau... (P.S. The "God" I refer to in my siggy is the all-knowing/all powerful entity, NOT Chris Martin, ok, let me clear that up! haha)
  25. Hey! I suggested the nekkid fighting!! So Chavi might get to clean up, but I should be the one to get them all dirrrty :wink3::smoking:
