They are not going to be played, although I'd really like them to give '42' and 'Strawberry Swing' a go at the tour. And 'Politik' as well, but it may just be back to the usual setlist on wednesday...not that I'm complaining ;)

So how about the capacity, about 35,000? I know it hasn't sold out. It's going to be one hell of a concert though, there's not gonna be any pressure on them after performing at Paraylmics! :)

Yeah but Jonny said in twitter q&a that they decided on when they want to start making another album. I don't think he'd said that if that was more than a year down the line. But maybe they need a new start - although I don't believe they will tear down Bakery and the Beehive - The Pierces will definitely record their new album with Guy there when this tour ends, and Coldplay can always do what they can there. This era though will end soon and I can't believe it was only a good year ago when it all really started. :)

This MX era is great, but Viva era was better as a whole. A lot of people who visit Coldplay in concerts might not agree since they keep getting better and better live, but album-wise and song-wise, Viva was better and up there with A Rush of Blood. Mylo Xyloto is a great album but is devised differently.

Yes, and Bruce Springsteen is the perfect example of that. But Coldplay are not going to be doing that any time soon. They have always maintained a good rapport with the audiences but more, I don't think so.

Hi everyone, I hope this is the place to ask the question (I may also ask The Oracle later), but what camera does Roadie use when shooting panorama pictures of audiences? I have thought he'd used a Nikon D80 with a special fish eye lens or a Hd Hero 2 camera with special settings.. thanks to everybody who might know the answer and sorry to bother you ;)

Not every song is featured in the Mylo Xyloto story, and some have been going on for a very long time (for example, Car Kids was first mentioned in early 2009). I am ok with the news regarding comic, but if we don't get any new songs, I don't think I'll be overjoyed!

DLIBYH wouldn't be the worst choice for a single, although it probably wouldn't do too well. However, if the EP comes out, I'm hoping it includes: Great Expectations Car Kids Tomorrow

I expect a variety of songs, big and small, on their next album, whenever that's going to come out. I don't expect it to come out before 2014 though, which means at least two years' wait AGAIN. Really doubtful about the EP as well.

Who edited this video - a five year old? I agree with those fans who said the 'making of' was a lot funnier and interesting.

The tweet from Phil also coincides with Chris saying on Zane Lowe show that Coldplay fans are about to receive some special news. I hope it's an EP but it's more likely a film (DVD, with extra), or even an animated film. I don't really think we'll be getting any new songs.

I think it's a fine album, just not so different compared to Viva (since there was the same team behind it) and when you understand that you tend to like it more. It orientates a bit more towards modern pop, and that's not too bad - look at how well 'Paradise' has been doing. MX has got some really good songs. Unlike some friends here, I don't really dig Charlie Brown - I mean, I get it, it sounds almost ultimately 'Coldplayish', but the song itself isn't a huge hit, definitely not in the same league as 'Paradise'. The promotion of the album singles has also been so so, with the video for Princess of China likely to gather a lot of attention. All in all, it's another great era, somehow it would be even better if they released more songs. Compared to the eras before, we have been given relatively few songs, no b-sides, no acoustic versions, no nothing. I have my hopes for an EP, but I don't know if they'll release it.

The preview looks huge, could be their 'biggest' video yet. Even if the song's not this good, the video'll be full of sexual tension (compare this to his role in The Scientist, so innocent!!!) :D

Charlie Brown and Princess of China feel like they've been on radio forever, don't think there will be an announcement about the latter actually. I think it might just be that they'll be announcing a new tour leg, or at least a new song or something if not EP.

I wouldn't mind if the big news was a few concerts more, if those were closer to where I live! However, I'm still hoping for an EP - there's a lot of unreleased material there and it would be a shame if they don't release it, since the album's been out for 8 months now.
