  1. ^ Woot! We shall stalk him/her/it to death (and all his friends)! :D Ah, you're right. I forgot to add Phil to the possibility list. :idea2:
  2. Who is Roadie#42 ????? :inquisitive: Some think it's Miller (Chris' piano tec) whom I got a rump shot of @ the Mansfield, MA show 2005 [image missing] Others think it's Jonny's imaginary friend..... But this Roadie#42 in question could be male or female, old or young, human or alien! We Will Find You Roadie#42! BWAHAHAHA!!! :sneaky: .... :dozey:
  3. 30 Days of Coldplay ^ Voila link: http://www.xmradio.com/onxm/channelpage.xmc?ch=51 Just click the Listen Online Now button at top right. Then say you want the 3 day free trial I'm listening now, they've played Low, Speed of Sound, Green Eyes, Bittersweet Symphony (Live8), and now Twisted Logic!!! And Chris and Jonny talked briefly saying "Hi I'm Jonny" "And I'm Chris Martin and you're listening to 30 days of Coldplay on XM Radio" SOOOOOOO COOOOOOL! OMG and NOW it's the boys' rendition of "LAST CHRISTMAS"!!! UBER ADORABLE! :)
  4. Jonny's friend 0_0 ^ Well unlike Chris & Guy, Jonny is Right-handed....if that has something to do with it  AHHHHH!!! honestly I've never heard of dressing to the left/right either.... lordy lordy, you girls really crack me up everyday i read these threads :laugh3:
  5. Coldplay Survey 1. First related Coldplay memory? Hearing "Don't Panic" and "Clocks" on PBS commercials and then seeing them on Conan O'brien :) 2. Have you ever seen the band live in concert, if so where? YES! THANK VISHNU, GOD, AND ALLAH! AT Mansfield, MA / Manchester, NH / and soon to be Boston, MA 3.a Favorite Coldplay album? Ooooh, yeeesh this is tough....:\ AROBTTH or VLV b. Favorite Coldplay song? From AROBTTH: A Rush of Blood To The Head! so raw and emotional, gives me chills, especially Jonny's guitar riffs in the outro. From VLV: 42! Different one everyday though. c. Favorite Coldplay video? Toss-up: The Scientist or GPASUYF 4. Most treasured Coldplay item in your collection? *GASP* The 3-D glasses I brought to the Manchester, NH show along with the Yellow Confetti I collected thereafter. And the tape rings I made....:D 5. What was your craziest fanatic moment regarding Coldplay (ie. did you have to go at great lengths to see them live? did you do something really dramatic to defend Coldplay? etc etc.) Calling 42 bloody times over the weekend trying to win FRONT ROW tickets from a radio station... and not winning (and still trying since the contest continues this week) And taking crap for being a fan... as well as trying to persuade a bouncer to let me back stage. :wink3:
  6. Fightin' the Grim Reaper! :) Hahaha, real attractive pic of Chris! :laugh3: Will singing Death Will Never Conquer (a.k.a. War Against Olde Grim Reapa) @ MSG There's a bunch of vids! :shocked2:
  7. ^ Sorry to scare you all...:curtain: Ooooh, I remember now. Yup, from the Olde forum.
  8. JONNY!!!!!!!! ^ :dozey: Niiiiiiiiiiice! Don't know where the heck I found this. Someone else made it. :D
  9. Death Will Never Conquer!!! ^ Mmmm yeah, kinda honky-tonkish. Thanks Coldplay  LIVE: They're gonna let Will sing it, that's what! :sneaky: Sweet song though, even with Chris singing. I think Mr. mc_squared is referring to that Will's sausage thread that I saw back along time ago :laugh3:
  10. ^ Are you serious, that was a question!? Wow you must have just died when you read that! :D (or gone off into a MASSIVE daydream as you say) *sigh* Well yeah, but lucky except for the weather. You live so close to Coldplay's home base!!!
  11. Jay Leno Bumpity Bump. just thought it'd be good to remind people about the boys on Leno July 17
  12. ^ Awwwww ... so close. Bad #43:whip:
  13. ^ Yeah, I'd discovered that too. *GASP* WE ALMOST HAVE 42 POSTS!!!! :o . . . . Wow, I need to get a life :sweatdrop:
  14. ~*42*~ ^ Hahaha, I know.... tell me about it :dozey: Once when I was taking a school test, all i could hear were Coldplay songs in my head...:D For one of my answers i seriously started writing the lyrics to (i think it was "Violet Hill" at the time). Good thing I caught myself and erased it. Question: What was the status of Buddhism in India following the fall of the Gupta empire? Answer: It continued to decline with the presense of snow, white snow. Clearly I remember from the rooftops they were watching while we froze.... Yeah, my obsession is THAT bad. :P P.S. You're soooo lucky you live in England!
  15. 42 !!!! !! ^ how come you had a minutes silence every 42nd minutes? In homage to 42? ^ haha, yay! go Douglas Adams! :) Lookie what I found on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_42 In Japanese, 4 (shi) and 2 (ni) are together pronounced like "going to death" (死に). Because of that, in Japan, 42 is considered as a disastrous number. :wreck: The plot thickens ever more!
  16. Jonny and Chris!!! :)  AWWWWwwww!!!! Chris and Jon-Jon are sooo adorable! The clips of them in Slow-Mo are awesome. You can really see the subtle body language they have between each other. :daisy: Seriously go back and watch 2:38 again. Jonny reacts like he's a shy giddy schoolgirl being asked out by a handsome schoolboy. :dozey: And OMG @ 2:57!!!!! :shocked2: Their guitars are mating.... Chris (about Jonny): "...I know that he's a guitar hero - to me, anyway. He's the only person that's ever made anything I've written sound any good." EDIT: Nice sig cha buckland :) and you have 42 Posts!!!
  17. 42! Yay! Other people are just as obsessed and 42-crazy as me! Loved reading your 42 sightings. Thank you all for being awesome Coldplay fans :D (I know I posted these in the 42 Thread, but here they are again) Oh and by the way, July 29th will be 42 days since "VIVA LA VIDA or DEATH AND ALL HIS FRIENDS" came out in the U.S.A.!!!! :dozey: My big question is: WHO IS ROADIE#42???? Is it Miller (Chris' piano tec)? Who?
  18. 42 ^ Some say it might be a tip of the hat to the novel "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and Chris once said that to be a great band, you need a song title that's just a number. http://wiki.coldplaying.com/index.php/42 And the #42 does seem to be appearing more frequently for me than most numbers... today for some reason. Maybe it's like Coldplay's b-side 1.36 and I'd freak out when I looked at the clock it was 1:36! Anyway, this was what i saw when i checked my email today. :stunned: Maybe when someone becomes an extremely obsessed Coldplay fan, they start seeing these numbers everywhere ;)
  19. 42!!! WOO! oop, double post. might as well use it though. Anyway, 42 is appearing everywhere! House numbers, phone numbers, peoples' ages, I know it's probably a psychological thing... :) There's even a book about a guy who keeps seeing the #42
  20. 42!!! WOO! ^ Hahaha, Shh! Please don't tell the boys where I am.....:sneaky: Bwahaha! Woo! Yeah us piano players rock! Wow, seriously ....someone the other day heard me playing 42 and she said "hmm, that kind of sounds like Band on the Run". I listened to both and the similarity is clear, they both have 3 seemingly separate parts combined to make one song. There are just too many coincedences in this world..... *cough, cough* :shocked2:
  21. 42.... Imagine AH! That was EXACTLY my thought when I first heard 42! :shocked2: Of course, when i actually played the two songs on the piano I realized they're different notes, but it's the same transition.
  22. Jonny AROBTTH Live Solo! I tabbed it long ago in another thread, but can't find it. So here it is typed out again anyway. (I tried my best by listening/watching the Live 2003 vid so sorry if it's odd at parts, # of strums, or anything) I had problems getting the chorus to sound right. I think Jonny may just be picking one string with lots of distortion so it sounds like a chord....?
