  1. Haha, I loved the Viva era, but I don't know... I preferred the X & Y era more. There was something breath-taking about the style they used for that era and the songs were kind of easier to relate to.
  2. I think the first one was "Gardeners on the Frontline". There was "Arabesque" and "Car kids (?)" too. And "Space Symphony"
  3. Wow, talk about being ungrateful and unappreciative... Don't they understand how privileged they are to see the band live? There are so many other fans all over the world who don't even get the chance to have the experience!
  4. Just incase anyone needs a reference.. Btw, the cover looks really cool. Haha
  5. Hey guys, Just saw the new Q Magazine cover on their site and apparently there's a Coldplay Tour Article in the October Edition (Which is supposed to be out now).. Does anyone have it yet? And would a kind soul help upload scans or something for the rest of us who don't have access to Q? Haha :P
  6. Thanks Perejro! (:
  7. Edit: Oops.. Multiple post by accident. Sorry guys
  8. The Killers announce plans to release covers album The Killers' Brandon Flowers and Ronnie Vanucci have told NME.COM that the band are planning to record an album of covers before the end of the year. Speaking in this week's issue of NME (out nationwide on June 24) about their plans for the release, the two said they've been thinking hard about which acts they'd like to include on the album. "It's something that we've always talked about doing and we're still talking about," Flowers said. "It's difficult for each of us to pick songs that represent us as individuals. I mean, I have a lot of personalities myself! I've gone through everything from Neil Diamond to The Cars." Vanucci cited acts including "Genesis, Tom Waits, a little Cyndi Lauper, Iggy Pop" as his preferred choices for the album, adding that he's also been "messing around with a couple of Fleet Foxes songs" recently. The drummer continued by saying that the band are planning to work on the album while on their current tour, explaining that The Killers have taken a mobile recording rig on the road with them. "It sounds excellent," he noted. The Killers are set to headline Hard Rock Calling in London tomorrow (June 26). To read the full interview with Flowers and Vanucci, make sure you pick up this week's issue if NME (available on newsstands across the country from June 24). Source: NME.com

  15. Haha add me to the list 'Can I haz Spare?' too! (From Singapore) Unfortunately I went to a show before the live album was launched, but I don't mind paying for the mailing and stuff. (: Thanks you guys!
  16. That was a really good cover! Good job (:
  17. Yes, Davide was the same violinist who did 'Bucket for a Crown' with Chris at that Charity gig. It was mentioned in the interview. They were working on some early ideas for the 4th album.. I think he mentioned Leftrightleftrightleft and Rainy Day, if I remember correctly. haha.
  18. The setlist was the same as before, i think. Just came back from the show as well! Wicked show, haha, I loved it when they came out from behind with the sparklers during LIT. Crowd response was MUCH better than I had expected, so I really really had fun! Chris was quite enthusiastic today, as were Jonny, Guy and Will. We were even asked to do the Coldwave during the short interval.
  19. Hey! Welcome to Coldplaying, haha! Personally I, too, find myself enjoying X & Y much more than the other albums. Don't get me wrong, I totally love Rush of Blood to the Head, Viva La Vida, and Parachutes. But X & Y was the album that had melodies and lyrics that I could really easily connect to and relate to compared to the other albums. Although, musically, I would say AROBTTH was better. :) I think each album has its own strength and weakness, but I'll always remember X&Y as the album that really got me into Coldplay.
  20. To Chris Martin, No idea if you'll ever read this but here's wishing you a very Happy Birthday!
  21. I thought his voice was still alright, but the arrangement. Oh god. The arrangement was terrible. And the way they redid the lyrics.. It was all over the place. What on earth is up with the drumming for the song?
  22. ditto. Anyone know where we could find the leak? EDIT: Found it! See multimedia thread..
