  1. Right there with you, Foxeh. Although, I'm a little past 5 listen-throughs. The last three songs are perfection, and I can't get over how brilliant HLH and CB are. "A Hopeful Transmission" completely reminds me of a film score, and went on repeat for an hour or so. But it just teams in so beautifully with DLIBYH that you have to play them both together. So happy right now. So, so, so completely happy.
  2. Quality is great. Misleading about being able to hear the whole album, though. It seems to be running through "Princess of China," "Paradise," and I'd assume ETIAW. *bummed*
  3. Similar to AI, I'm having trouble getting the font to show up in Word 2008 (for Mac). It's showing up fine in PSCS5, but Word just won't recognise it. As far as I can tell, it's placing itself in the User fonts area rather than System, and I can't figure how to move it. Would appreciate the help. :) ETA: Okay, scratch all that. The ETIAW font has in fact installed itself in the System fonts area, but isn't being recognised by Word. Which is weird, because a font I installed just the other day has placed itself in the User area and will show up fine in both PS and Word. *confused* Any ideas?
  4. Oh, man. That was a really fantastic article. Thank you for posting. And that picture? I need it in HQ. New desktop background, right there. So gorgeous, all of them.
  5. This is getting absurd. I am dying here. Why has it not leaked yet!? *frustrated* :(
  6. I liked "Paradise" on first listen, but it wasn't instant love like with ETIAW. Now? I can't get enough of it. I really think it's brilliant. The opening strings and synths and their reoccurrence around the 2:48 mark with the "la-la-la's" -- amazing. My favourite part by far. Love this song.
  7. Oh, god. It's been hard trying to stop counting down the days to the official release, and now I can't stop thinking about a leak. I hate that I want one, but I am so done waiting. I want this album. Now.
  8. I've pretty much loved all the new stuff so far, and regardless of my opinion of the album when it's released, I've already planned on attending each of their shows in every state over here. Seeing them live is just something else.
  9. To me, it would be totally plausible for MX to have a couple more tracks and be a little longer if it is, as being theorised right now, supposed to have two halves -- or two different parts. Which means it's possible the boys didn't adhere to their withstanding rule of "no longer than 42 minutes (or 9 tracks)," or worry about any regrets they may have with regard to X&Y's length, because for this occasion it was necessary. And obviously, agreed upon. Either way, I'm completely happy with the fact it will have 14 tracks, whether it turns out to include a couple of instrumentals or not. As long as it's a good album, I'm not going to worry about anything else.
  10. Besides having heard random songs from previous releases, "X&Y" was the album that I was first really exposed to and it completely drew me in. It has songs that I'll still always add to my playlists, and even if the boys would rethink it's length, I still think it stands up for it's worth. Regarding the length of MX, I'm not worried. As much as I would love for it to be a long one, I'd really rather see it be something of exceptional quality instead. Which I have no doubt it will be.
  11. So I was wondering, because the second iteration of your font is so incredible, if you'd have a go at recreating the symbols that have been released with the track list? :)
  12. I'd say it's "expected" considering the lyrics released via Twitter. But yes, I am pretty sure it is the cutest thing I've ever heard. Crystaline -- yeah. I would have caved, too. I mean, I did, so.
  13. Well, maybe you should just have the one listen then ban yourself until Monday. It won't be easy, but it could be done.
  14. I certainly haven't been fence-sitting, and I don't think I intend to, but I'd probably recommend holding out. May as well; it's only 30 seconds -- a great 30 seconds, don't get me wrong -- but Monday is so close and I think it'll be worth waiting to listen to the entire song without any idea what it sounds like.
  15. Monday can't come fast enough. Repeating for sure.
  16. Have seen that and considered it -- still doesn't convince me entirely. I'm more than happy for it to be a full-length track, I'm just going to wait for official confirmation, first.
  17. That's true, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't name the album after an instrumental, either. While "Parachutes" is a song with lyrics, it only goes for 46 seconds or so. And I entirely doubt that if MX is an intro track, that it will be a hidden one. We all know that MX = Mylo Xyloto, I just don't think it's been necessarily made clear whether it's a song any longer than what we've already heard. It isn't about not believing, it's about not having something particularly substantiative to base that statment on. I love it as an intro to HLH, but I would not be against a full-length track, either.
  18. I'm still not convinced. If she'd said "...it wasn't the full song," then maybe. Otherwise, I'm still waiting for actual, clear clarification.
  19. Works out perfect for me -- will be 4:50PM, right before I finish work, so the office will be quiet and I'll be streaming the radio feed. Completely excited.
  20. Most certainly listening alone. Without a doubt.
