  1. Well, hopefully we'll see some amazing audience reception at Glastonbury. I'm banking on it. And I can't even fathom how anyone could not be jumping around at a Coldplay gig, let alone walk away from one. Unbelievable.
  2. Yeah, thought it was 5 albums in the contract, too.
  3. They are the live versions, yes -- but I still think wait. There is something about hearing studio versions first. It's like the natural progression or something, hearing what the band officially release and then hearing it as they play it live. But again, it's up to you and your willpower. I can't help but feel a little regret at being so over-zealous in my current listenings. All five songs have been on repeat since we've had access to them. I can't help myself. Maybe I'll stop tomorrow...
  4. "Hurts Like Heaven" has grown on me exponentially. The lyrics, the intro, it's general sound? So, so, so amazing. I'm thinking it will be the album opener. But yes -- hold off if you can. I think it'll end up being worth it.
  5. I've been listening to the new songs over and over, and I have certainly considered stopping right now and waiting until the album is released. I do feel a little like I've spoiled it for myself, but it was just too hard to resist. Particularly once I'd listened a couple of times and realised how amazing the songs are (not to make it any harder on you). Ultimately, it is up to you. I mean -- what we have access to now is going to still be available once the album has been released, but I do think maybe you should try and hold out. At least for as long as you can.
  6. Agree about "Cartoon Heart" being the better name. But yeah -- that song absolutely makes me weak in the knees. I love all the new songs, and hearing them like this has made it exceptionally harder to wait for this next album. The entire concert was just spot on -- especially Chris' voice. Goosebumps. I just... -- I can't even describe the love and pride I feel for them right now. Off the charts.
  7. My god. Chris' voice in "Fix You". Absolutely one of the most incredible things I've ever, ever heard. F**k.
  8. More is better. Longer song makes me happy. But I thought the song was around 4:03, at least that was the time stamp on the German Amazon or similar...?
  9. It's wrong and selfish and twenty other different things, but I keep checking here just hoping that the single has somehow leaked. Why can't it be Friday already? *cantwaitanylonger*
  10. Loving the artwork, outfits, photographs and single title. Coldplay, FTW. Friday can't come fast enough.
  11. It's 4:05AM here, I've been sitting at the computer and refreshing pages for hours now and about to fall asleep on my keyboard. Coming back in a few to see if we finally got our update/announcement/surprise release -- whatever it may be. Off to have lovely Coldplay dreams...
  12. Oh, right -- yeah. If we compare the info we have now to what we had for VLV, then yeah, the_escapist is correct: Coldplay are being a whole lot more secretive this time around. I was referring to the hype surrounding a possible new album release. :)
  13. Certainly was. Nothing like a little movement in the Coldplay camp to jump-start a frenzy over here.
  14. Hi, Bones -- welcome! Any new information will be here waiting for you after Uni -- analysed, discussed and described, for sure.
  15. Hells yeah. I listen to Coldplay constantly. Literally -- over and over and over. A new album... just... -- yeah. Really can't wait.
  16. Hah. You never know, WS. You never know... It's so easy to get wrapped up in the excitement and anticipation of it all. It's a part of the experience.
  17. I do, too. But I'm happy enough not to know as long as he allows us to be privy to some things. I'd rather that than nothing at all.
