LP5 Is Currently 85 Minutes Long (Interview with Will and Chris after Glastonbury)
I'd never turn down an 85-minute long Coldplay album, but I'm certainly more for quality over quantity. Although, Coldplay is yet to do anything I don't like, so. But yeah -- I'd rather a refined, fine-tuned, finished album. I'm convinced it'll be an October release now, if I wasn't already before.

I'm really pulling for "Princess of China". Busting to hear a good quality version now.

Yeah, wow. A grower -- but no doubt brilliant after a few listens. I really can't wait for this next album. Seriously.

Moving To Mars: LISTENING PARTY! Countdown to Friday 24th June, 11.45am (BST)
I'm really hoping they'll pop it up on YT after airing. I can't see why not, especially considering they've done it now with both ETIAW and MM. Suppose we'll find out. Not long now -- I'm sort of really excited. I'm yet to hear anything I don't like.

Moving To Mars: LISTENING PARTY! Countdown to Friday 24th June, 11.45am (BST)
I don't really know what I'm expecting for this -- as I learnt from ETIAW (which I'm a lover of). I've only really skimmed the lyrics, too, but I know there were a few comments saying it sounded like it would be a slow one. Although, given the intro has been described as "epic"... I'm hoping for a nice, big dose of Jonny. Everything we've heard so far, he's been incredible on.

Ah, right. That's fair enough. Well, considering Tash just confirmed it was Radio 1 that aired MM first last night, maybe stick with that one. Or, you know -- set an alarm for half an hour later and then check that the actual Coldplay site hasn't uploaded it yet. Might work out for you better -- knowing you can't have missed it or be impeded by faulty connections/buffering.

Oh -- well, sweet. Thanks! Didn't catch it last night and never caught up with the thread to check.

I've always stuck with Radio 1 -- I mean, either way you'll hear it eventually. I'm never too fussed about hearing it first. But yeah, Absolute got MM first last night, right? I think just choose one and stick with it. I'd be concerned about switching over stations at first mention of airing and ending up half-way through the song.

Moving To Mars: LISTENING PARTY! Countdown to Friday 24th June, 11.45am (BST)
Took a few listens, but it has certainly grown on me. I really, really love it actually. Some of the lyrics, particularly, and Will and Chris singing together, especially -- there's something about how their voices sound together. I like the vocal effects and think they suit the context of the song quite well. My favourite thing is probably the "Spies"-esque guitar that can be heard toward the end. Goosebumps.

Pretty sure MM was aired as specified -- I got on just after 9PM BST, and I'd missed it. Coldplay site had it up not long after anyway, as I'd expect the same to be done for MTM this afternoon/tonight (wherever each of us are).

Lyrics
MAJOR MINUS Studio Version^ ----- They got one eye watching you, And one on what you do, So be careful who it is you’re talking to. They got one eye watching you, And one on what you do, So be careful what it is you’re trying to do. And be careful when you’re walking into view, Just be careful when you’re walking into view. Ooh-ooh-oooh, Ooh-ooh-oooh-ooh. Got one eye on the road and one on you. Ooh-ooh-oooh, Ooh-ooh-oooh-ooh. Got one eye on the road and one on you*. They got one eye watching you, And one on what you do, So be careful ‘cause nothing they say is true. And then we don’t believe a word, It’s just us against the world, And we just got to turn up to be heard. Hear those crocodiles ticking ‘round the world, Hear those crocodiles ticking, they go ticking ‘round the world. Ooh-ooh-oooh, Ooh-ooh-oooh-ooh. Got one eye on the road and one on you. Ooh-ooh-oooh, Ooh-ooh-oooh-ooh. Got one eye on the road and one on you*. You can hear them climbing the stairs, I got my right side fighting while my left hides under the chairs. Ooh-ooh-oooh, Ooh-ooh-oooh-ooh. Got one eye on the road and one on you. Ooh-ooh-oooh, Ooh-ooh-oooh-ooh. Got one eye on the road and one on you. ----- ^My interpretation. *Technically, you don't actually hear these sung. I really, really love this song.
