  1. Usually, dates only get added for overwhelming demand, and then it's additional nights at the same venues. I'm not sure the published schedule would even allow that however.
  2. Just my opinion but I think it's safe to say that based on the number and type of rumors it's almost certain that a South American tour was planned/talked about at some point. However, I really don't think that the February/march timeframe is that likely anymore given that we're now very close to those dates with no public announcement. Not saying it can't happen, but it would be somewhat unusualfor a major tour to announce itself so "last minute".
  3. Unfortunately no. It's a proprietary Fender Vid, so it's not available anywhere else. (at least that I know of.)
  4. Liverpool '08: Shed Tour '09: Christmas Lights w/Guy: On the Telecaster: http://www.fender.com/blog/jonny-buckland-talks-telecaster/
  5. I didn't say he never uses them, only that he uses them very sparingly compared to most drummers, and often doesn't play them in places where other drummers would. Paradise in the hands of most drummers would've ended with a big f^%k off Tom fill, but Will's part is very tasteful and restrained.
  6. I'm not saying it's bad, I just find it unusual. Will definitely has a signature style to his playing. He's far from the most accomplished drum technician, but many players would struggle to replicate his style nonetheless.
  7. It's a really weird style.
  8. I just realized that Will almost never plays Tom fills in any of his drum parts. Does he have any songs where he actually plays a full on Tom fill? The ending of Fix You sounds like toms in the recorded version, but I noticed live he plays this on the snare as well. I'm not a drummer, so I'm no expert and can't really tell the tonal nuances. I just find this to be an unusual style of drumming.
  9. Agreed. Over the last couple tours Coldplay have actually had a somewhat unusual touring schedule for such a large scale act. They've played a lot of smaller markets worldwide that mid range tours usually hit, but that truly massive tours often skip over. This tour they tended to consolidate things by playing more, bigger, shows in major markets and skipping over smaller ones. Viva was nearly 200 shows long, and an absolutely brutal schedule for nearly two years. Small bands trying to get noticed may have to push themselves that hard but bands as big as Coldplay are now can afford to give themselves a bit of a breather, which I can't say I blame them for.
  10. Seeing as we're now days to november with no news, I'd say that anything that is going to happen next year, will likely be later than feb./march. It takes time to ramp up a major concert do ticketing etc.
  11. It would be kind of funny, especially as Keshia resembles Jo somewhat. I guess they've picked each other's secret twins or something! :laugh3:
  12. I know his brother is younger than him. Not sure by how much.
  13. That's more or less my case for it being him. ;)
  14. Puffy hoodie. ;)
  15. Ok, I concede that it maybe isn't. I still honestly think it is, but I bow to the majority opinion on this one. :)
  16. Pretty sure. It's got his nose profile, and the little divot in the side of his hairline looks like how he's wearing it lately. It was on one of the Guy Tumblrs, so someone must think it's him. I'd say I'm 90% sure.
  17. Guy being handy: It's kind of sweet that they're apparently still so close. :)
  18. I don't see that at all. Oracle was trying to say (as politely as possible), that there's simply no legal way to get a print of the crowd panoramas. As I posted above, they don't have a choice about defending their copyright, they're legally required to do so if they wish to keep it, plus it sounds like they have aesthetic reasons for not releasing copies themselves. As Oracle says, that's it.
  19. The way copyright law works, it's incumbent on the rights holder to "vigorously defend" their copyrights. If they relax the rules to some of the photos, they could potentially lose their copyright protection on all the MX tour photos. Legally speaking, not defending a copyright constitutes an abandonment of same. I suspect such concerns are at the root of their stance on this. Just my two cents as someone who's dealt with similar issues in the past.
  20. Who says it wasn't his mates who took his shoes and snapped the pics? He freely admits he used to drink heavily, but he's fairly sober these days. (I think he completely gave up alcohol for awhile after his divorce.) Regardless, I'm sure he's fine these days.
  21. It's not looking so likely at this point. At least not for February.
  22. I'd have to say there's no chance TBH. :\
  23. There are some jurisdictions where it's illegal (or at least restricted) to sell someone a non transferable ticket. Maybe they can't do the paperless everywhere.
