It be so cool if they performed Up With the Birds acoustically, but I'm probably the only one who'd want that, everyone's requesting older songs. :P

Hadn't thought about it that way. Maybe.. But I kinda still think the majority of the people interested in it are the sports fans, americans are insane over following their sports and the Super Bowl is pretty much the biggest game of the year.

More than that, this is a crowd of sports fans, not a crowd of music fans, so as much as it's a cool "show", the majority of that stage is clueless as to what great music (other than the obvious hits) Coldplay has to offer. So they gotta dumb it down for the audience, which is lame, and why I am not excited for them taking on the offer to play the halftime show. That and I don't think they are even football fans themselves!! Pretty strange gig, but I'm sure I'd say yes to it too considering how much they are probably getting paid for this.

It's gotta be Viva for me too. That's where the guys mixed their talent with innovation the right way. Up till then they were already an amazing band, writing great music, but I feel like they were't as unique yet. When Viva struck, they had a sound and style of their own. Their creativity went off the roof in my opinion. Ever since, I feel as though their curiosity to explore music shrunk towards including more and more pop (almost exclusively). Not bad just one directional :)P).. I can see a curve drawn up in terms of musical exploration towards Viva, and then back down after Viva. It's also when the band surprised everyone the most, sonically and musically the sound was mature, fresh, innovative, and varied..

Just realize I named it "C Marks the Spot" that's how much I cared.. haha. (fixed now). But yeah, not even sure what the point of the track is on the album, and why it isn't listed by itself, but color spectrums is? haha.. So weird. And me too! When they played it at the Global Citizen fest, it wasn't surprising at all, just like a nice predictable melody, with a predictable singalong... What do you think of A Head Full of Dreams (the track)?

This was great! May I just point out that if I was Chris's friend, I'd say, mann, I suggest you wear black for interviews. His armpits are always so sweaty and the blue top, (even though it's double shirt!) doesn't help much haha.

You've heard amazing day even less than X marks the spot? Those are my two least favorites at the moment.. As far as singles, doubt it, they released everglow and hymn to radio as "singles" if that even really still applies.. But can't forget they have Tove lo for a single too.. It's all marketing :/

Yeah that was one hella interview full of different questions, good questions.. Only wonder what made it time constraint, thought it wouldn't be that strict with the "we're out of time" thing..

This reminds me of a show radiohead streamed and played the entire in rainbows album... Wish Coldplay did that!

It's a lovely balad in my opinion. Much nicer melody than a lot on GS..
