Coldplay Shaun of the dead
I love this film, such a mix of horror, comedy, heart break, suspence, romance and one element never crosses the line. As in it knows when a laugh is good and when its best to play seriously.

Please read this and reply- this might make you mad
It bothers me, because my friends are missing out on good music, the stuff they listen to isn't terrible. I havent listened to everything they have tho. The thing that annoys me is when they dismiss my music taste as totally gay. Then listen to something with no beauty or soul.

Which band should i get into next?
I think everything you listed there is pop.

Muse Survivor - Origin of Symmetry - Round FINAL
Plug in baby, because the other two are awsome. Still this is the first time I actually agree with everyone else on any of these polls on what are the best songs of an album.

YOUR ``VIVA LA VIDA or....`` ARTWORK !!!!!
First one looks very Radioheadish. I reckon the artwork will look very arty, like a painting.

Which band should i get into next?
DONT GET THE BEST OF, ITS SUCH A REGRET FOR ME, SINCE EVERY BLUR ALBUM I HEARD FROM THAT POINT WASN'T COMPLETELY NEW. Blur albums are very cheap on amazon's preowned section. In the UK at least I spent about £2 on average on each album.

it's one of those songs...
Yeah, mostly things by Radiohead, they work so well walking to college alone.

Which band should i get into next?
I love Blur, the singing is just so sweetly done, A little bit punky, a little bit smart, a little bit sad a little bit thrashing rock and a little bit of guitar brilliance. About as reinventable throughout their career as Muse and Radiohead. Pick up Blur or The Great Escape to get started and work your way through them all. Great vocals, great guitar work from Graham Coxon (check out Blur s/t if you love great guitar work) or the earlier stuff (Park life/Modern life is rubbish) if you want to see quintesensial 90's life parodied with an eye for details) I love Blur they just sound so different to anything else out there, more than any other bands you've listed here. Songs to check out Beetlebum (such a unique and explosive sound) Country House (The biggest hit of their Britpop days) Tender (6 minute gospel influenced ballad) Bugman (Their noisiest and most fun thrasher) Chemical world (Just a great pop song, of a band that made far too many) Girls and Boys (The big universally brilliant dance anthem) The universal (Star gazing almost Muselike anthem with a look to the future) DO IT! Travis to me are just a lesser Coldplay, I do enjoy them but thats all they are to me, a less bombastic, less brilliant Coldplay. U2 is an aquired taste, definatly very talented and brilliant band but they've had some bad days and very few recommendable albums. Better off getting U218 over an album unless its The Joshua Tree or Auchtung baby. REM, Never been a fan, their sound annoys me really the vocals dont suit the music.

Radiohead
How about confirmation they're going back into the studio soon to try out some stuff? They said this to pitchfork today.

Could this be Coldplay's "Achtung Baby"?
Except that your including U2's Rattle and Hum a movie album, but then you don't include all the beatles movie albums. That ruins your pattern.

Muse Survivor - Origin of Symmetry - Round 8
I think New Born has a chance, I prefer it to Plug in baby

Beatles (Rubber Soul/Revolver/StgPeppers/White album/Abbey Road/Let it be) U2 (Achtung baby/Joshua Tree/All you cant leave behind/How to dismantle an atomic... Travis (The man who/Invisible band/The boy with no name) Coldplay (all 3, and b sides) Oasis (Morning glory/Def maybe/Don't believe the truth (their best known) Muse/RH B sides EP's

The Beatles
Nope But the BBC are doing a remake of StgPepper with covers according to Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sgt_pepper#40th_anniversary_re-recording I really do like Stg Pepper, its not totally consistant and Strawberry Fields and Penny lane should be here but otherwise its propably my second favorate after Abbey Road. I think ill get A hard days night or White album next, dunno which.

Muse Survivor - Origin of Symmetry - Round 7
I can't see there not being a big turnout with the response from the other 4, or you could just shove Shrinking Universe in there and save the contest :)

The OFFICAL Guns N Roses Thread!!!!!
I doubt they've even started on it, but you know its going to be bad afterall. Just like G n R currently are.
-
Could this be Coldplay's "Achtung Baby"?
I hope its not their revolver, that had some crappy tracks along with the good stuff.
-
Muse Survivor - Origin of Symmetry - Round 7
Then it gets criminal... You going to do Hullabloo after this? some of the tracks on that deserve a chance as they're up there with the greatness of some of the album tracks.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Never liked the studio version all that much, I've swapped it for the HAARP version on my mp3. A better opener than a closer tho, surely?
-
The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Yeah I watched the DVD today, very well planned concert full of suprises. Not a big fan of Stockholm Sydrome live though, he doesnt sound angry enough.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Listened to the CD once today, I love how the songs feel different live to the studio version but Im not sure if Matt's voice is as good live. On Hurricaines it definatly isn't. I love New Born on HAARP tho, whats everyone elses favorates?

Radiohead
OKC was my first RH album but I kinda picked up the songs in an odd order. Subterranian Homesick alien, Climbing up the walls and Electioneering were my favorates at first, it took me a few looks at the lyrics to realise why Let Down was so brilliant. Oh I remember discovering RH for the first time, what a great experience and one that I sadly will never be able to repeat. :(

The word masterpeice / masterwork within music
I can't speak for the White album yet but I've heard Stg Pepper, Revolver and Rubber Soul as well as Abbey Road. IMO all of them have filler with the exception of AR. Revolvers yellow submarine is just as annoying as with some of Stg Pepper such as good morning, good morning (but i think thats the point). Rubber Soul I think is the worst of the 4 after all it was totally rushed for christmas. Achtung Baby was my 7th choice for a masterpeice but its basically 12 songs about divorce, bono constantly looking for new ways to express how he (or not him actually but the edge) will get threw this differcult time. I find it hard to sympatise with a man pretending to be in pain, who makes an album completely about himself. I still prefer it to the Joshua Tree that has songs that just don't entertain me at all. For me Kid A is exactly what you say Ok Computer does for you Approximate, basically some strong songs tied down with not so strong songs. They say its RH's most consistant, I don't think it gets going till track 3 and I fail to see whats so special about Treefingers.
